It would have to be Green right now. Even though Iggy is arguably more important to the overall success in the Finals thus far, Dray's stat averages scream FMVP much more.

The real question is, is he even ahead of livingston at the moment?
Insane that you could even make an argument right now that the 1st unanimous mvp ever is currently 4th or 5th in the fmvp race 2 games in. It wouldn't necessarily be true, but the argument can be made.
He's 3rd right now, but it wouldn't take much to change that, tbh..
Kawhi didn't do much during the 1st 2 games of 2014, IIRC..
SF, & their eternal fascination with paperweights, pretties, & door stops.

Preach, Cully who else cares that much?
It smells of insecurity and lack of parental affection.
Only one trinket truly matters and you get it after 16 wins ...despite all the rocks in it, its no doorstop.

The only one that has nicks is the NHL one. They did it best. One trophy. One. Forever.
Every other one is shined & polished,,,"Don't touch." signs all over the ing place, under lock and key in a glass case, sometimes the janitor for the Spurs has to get the key from a soused Holt, take it back out and hand it over to NBA stewards.
Not the Stanley Cup, it's for the players, for the people, to touch, to hold, like a beautiful woman, or, any woman. You put your finger in it, and take your finger out, smell it, if it smells good you lick it, if it don't you lick it.
Just like mvparker, small players are easy to shut down, but that has a cost, and that cost is open shooting for scrubs.
If the spurs hadn't been trodding out poor shooters during Parker's prime he'd have been a bigger mvp threat. Instead people slam him for "disappearing" in the playoffs.
Still kinda early to really say whom should win it. After game 2? I would lean Draymond Green for his all-around play. But let's see how they play on the road before anything is set in stone.
Obviously it's not too early to make you stand in the in' corner, Meth. LF doesn't do doorstopsPERIOD
Curry and Thompson might just be the best offensive. Its not about the stat sheet but their presence creates the game plan of the opponent. The opponent must sag off them so much that they have to play college level defense on every other player. That type of defense immediately seals their fate.
The stat sheet finals MVP would be Green. He's making shots off Cleveland's terrible defense due to placing mental and physical energy towards Curry and Thompson. He's completely filling up the stats sheet. Both can have shots whenever they truly want in the series. Their isometric basketball handles and shooting touch are too reliable and efficient.
This is a game for the Warriors. They can truly execute any play and be successful more so than not. There's too much confidence and youth.
So yes, Green at this point deserves the finals MVP. Its going to stress out millions of people if he wins it. People were on his this whole playoffs and season altogether.
Even though it doesn't make sense, I agree all the same. Not just for Game 6, but he weathered the storm against OKC in the first half of Game 7 too. The shot I'll remember most in these playoffs is around 2:25-2:30 of the vid below. Even though KT was lighting it up in Game 6 OKC still kept counter-punching until that shot...just an ill-advised heave with an ugly ass release--but it broke the Thunder's spirit and was the moment they realized they were ed--imo. Dubs have returned to form ever since
