Maradona barely touched the ball against Germany in '86. The only difference between Messi in '14 and Maradona in '86 was that Valdano and Burruchaga scored their chances and Higuain and Palacio didn't.

It's not an excuse. It's not being a re and actually knowing something about football. We have already been through this with Chile last year and I ended being right, as 99% of the time.

No matter the compe ion, if you spend 20 games unbeaten, 10 games winning in a row and I don't remember how many games without even allowing a goal, you're doing something right. These two same Argentina and Mexico teams played not too long ago and Mexico run circles around Argentina; but apparently now, for some odd reason, Argentina should be the "mega favorite" in a match between the two
