It's not just that. You need significant talent in the wings too. It's extremely difficult to find offensive consistensy without a real CF. Only way that happens is if your mid and other strikers are elite tier offendive players.
Heck even Argentina plays with Higuin and when Aguero is starting they try to make him play CFs. Middle threat just opens up everuthing in the flank and in the middle.
