Don't know about any of these guys. Haven't seen any college games this year. But I get the feeling they see the want-to, desire, passion and physical tools, at least to some degree, they saw in Kawhi.

I support the pick. Manu will be gone soon, definitely need someone to throw it into the fifth row.
This was funny but also made a bit sentimental TBH when Manu retires. I look forward to seeing Dejonte develop though.

19 year old people. Kid has ridiculous potential. Spurs are going after Conley, this kid will be great second unit fodder with lottery upside. His shot can easily be molded at that age, and his height allows him to pass over people much easier. Love the pick. Got to take chances here to stay compe ive long term.
Agreed. He's a pick for the future but has such upside to him bc he's still so young. I love this pick. I am sooooo excited we did not draft Ulis.

Damn, I hope this kid can pass because he can't shoot, at all.
    Neither could Leonard.

Kahwi couldn't shoot for and Chip turned him into one of the best 3pt shooters in the league, but you s are worried about a 19yo who can't shoot....

With a little bit of work he can't be worse than TP, Mills, and KA. He'll deserve playing time but that doesn't mean anything to Pop.

Dejounte Murray, a guy many had in the lottery, fell to the Spurs at 29. He doesn't seem too upset about it

The goal for me would be him ready to be the backup next season and ready to be a starter the season after that. Would rather he had an extra year, but what can you do?

Today I said a combo guard was the safest bet, just didn't think Murray would be the one since most mocks had him in the lottery.

What if he pulled a Parker and took Tony's job 5 games in. How ironic.

An extra year and the spurs don't go near him. Spurs are definitely targeting Conley. If they get him, his contract will run out when Murray is ready to get a raise and take over. Will play out perfect tbh.
