Steve Kerr runs the show anyways. Draws the plays up and everything. Maybe he can be a motivational type guy if anything.
Mike is a defensive specialist. He'll be fine.
Mike Brown is the Wade Phillips of the NBA.
Both are great at teaching defensive principles and concepts ...
but just not the leader of men that the HC position requires.
Good move for state, but I think Ron Adams (?) serves that function, is that dynamic changing?
I think State is worried about Kerr being out for extended periods again. They need someone who can at least hold a clipboard.
Mike is more "special ed" than "specialist."
But he's been to the Finals as a head coach and rung in 2003 as an assistant.
Pretty sure Mike could do as well as Doc. He's not a bad coach.
Coach James carried him to it.
Pop carried him to it.and rung in 2003 as an assistant.
That's one of the lowest bars to clear in NBA history. Doc is a terrible coach. And even still, I don't think Mike Clown quite clears itPretty sure Mike could do as well as Doc.
If GS wins, Mike was carried to it. If they lose, Mike is the reason.
You're the Boutons of the NBA Forum.
There's nothing wrong with Mike Brown as an assistant. There's a solid defensive mind inside that Milk Dud-looking head of his. Not a guy you want as your head coach, but MB won't be the only NBA assistant who's been fired as a head coach a few times.
Feel the same about Alvin Gentry tbh ...
These guys are so far ahead of the everyone else. They'll hire a guy that was fired by the Cavs and then the Lakers. Far out, they're so far ahead of the curve, it's amazing.
It doesnt matter, Lakers are getting an Elite Coach-roach they are winning the ring, yes they are winning the ring!
