Better than Gretz cuz he won for both franchises ...
Wayne came close but could not ring in L.A. ...
^^He also managed to avoid all off-court controversy, even in the social media era and growing up as a child star(most of them become ed up, at some point)..
Gretzky is the only other superstar of that magnitude that managed to accomplish that IIRC..

And he has remained healthy and durable despite more minutes than other player at the same career stage
Sort of easy to do when I'm answering killakobe81 who tries to talk about stars deeserves max to deflect blame from Kobe destroying the franchise.
Also, don't hate because I call out your logic. If you don't want to be called out, just have better logic.
Actually, Killa makes it a habit to NOT include Kobe in every basketball related topic...
Lol. I haven't even talked about him in months, but the one time I call out killakobe81you come yapping your gums.
Why don't you get your other trolls to support you?
Since retirement. But the truth is, this entire thing was about defending Kobe and the 48.5
It's close, tbh. Gretzky didn't lift the Cup on any other team than Edmonton, but he did put hockey on the map in LA and California in general. The fierce Kings/Ducks/Sharks rivalry, all the fan support, the Kings' two Cups, the Ducks' one cup and the Sharts' participation ribbon - all of that is because of Gretzky. That's a big deal for a sport that has traditionally been irrelevant outside of Canada and the Original 6.
The Great One is the only athlete who even belongs in the same discussion as LeGOAT, IMO.
Kareem was a child star, in the Mecca no less.
