If we have ads can we also have a portal homepage? Like s a blog. Whether we have a paid guy write or just promote the better posters with article format we'd have better traffic.. Then the forums could remain trashy. But common man comes here and gets turned off despite the good content.

Pretty good idea, tbh. Would probably be a good incentive for more people to contribute instead of the same 15-20 posters.
