The women part has to be troubling for clinton

Conservative CBS panelist on GOP nominating Trump: They’re ‘coming to Cleveland to die’
Ben Domenech from The Federalist wasn’t accepting the spin from his fellow Republican panelists on Sunday’s “Face the Nation.”
"The Pence pick does not change the fact that the Republican Party is now the party of Donald Trump,” he said,
“This is not the party of Abraham Lincoln anymore. It is the party of Donald Trump. It has traded statesmanship for xenophobia,”
“It has traded free markets for protectionism. It has traded the higher principles of our better angels for the belief in party iden y politics.
That is why they are getting zero percent of the black vote in Pennsylvania. That is why you’re going to continue to see this kind of race-baiting approach to politics. I think it’s completely true that this is the end of the party of Lincoln.”
“They are desperate for change,” Domenech agreed. “They are desperate for something different than what the elites who have failed them for far too long.
But they have turned in their desperation to a man who they don’t fully understand and who’s not going to deliver on his promises.”

America finally getting a true leader after decades of losers
It's an amazing day for American and humans overall.
Ben Carson just used the word "deleterious" -- that's big league!
He's Donny Trash
JUNIOR TRUMP FOR PRESIDENT 2024. CALLING IT RIGHT NOW.
16 YEARS OF TRUMP IN THE WHITE HOUSE. CALLING IT NOW FOLKS.
Ted Cruz is speaking tonight but it's being reported that he won't endorse Mr. Trump. Then what the heck is he there for? And why would Mr. Trump want him there?
Repugs are ing ridiculously hilarious
I hear that Cruz's speech hasn't been vetted/cleared - they're just letting him say whatever he wants - I think this is Trump's peace offering. Cruz doesn't have to formally endorse Trump but he should try to bring the conservatives/supporters in - if only because of the Supreme Court. I know Trump said some very harsh things about his father/family but so did he about Trump and he's gotta forgive because he's a Christian.
Completely agree.
We should all be happy though that Mr. Trump officially clinched the nomination because it avoids the riots that might have come if he didn't.
"he's gotta forgive because he's a Christian"

politics trumps religion, every time. Politicians feign religiosity to sucker the stupid, ignorant base.
Politics is for a short time - Christians think in terms of eternity.
rmt, do you have any serious concerns about a Mr. Trump presidency? I'm concerned it may not be very transparent, and we (the public) may be kept in the dark on certain issues. The Melania Trump situation should have been fairly innocuous but they handled it poorly in my opinion. The campaign manager was effectively suggesting that the reusing of words from Mic e Obama's speech was just a coincidence when obviously it was not. Now, today, we find out what mostly likely happened which was totally different.
When compared to a Hillary presidency, Trump transparency is the least of my concerns. He has no filter on his mouth and every thought comes out. The intense scrutiny from the republicans, democrats and media would keep him in line. Hillary, otoh, who knows what she's hiding. Remember the private server thing was only found out because of the Benghazi hearings.
I don't like Paul Mannafort - too much of a slick politician type. They should have just admitted the mistake and gone on. I do like that Trump seems loyal to long-time employees and didn't fire the speech writer considering how the media blew it out of proportion (it was still the top story on Google News this morning - 2 days after, even with the 2nd night of the convention in between). Whatever mistakes the Trump campaign makes, they should just admit it - everyone knows he's not a politician and doesn't have hundreds of staff vetting things. I'm more concerned with fixing America's problems than how things looks to the public (look at Hillary and the uniform/Benghazi situation - seriously she's concerned about whether the Libyans are offended by uniforms?)
I certainly hope so, but he could use powers to try and silence the media which concerns me. But I appreciate your other points.
The concerns I have about a Trump presidency are mostly his mouth and the mess that's been inherited: soon to be 21 trillion debt which limits the wriggle room needed to fix things. Obamacare is entrenched and even if it is repealed, the replacement (politically) cannot take away Medicaid from those single, able-bodied without kids people (who I think should not be eligible). The states which accepted Obamacare Medicaid expansion are going to have financial issues when the feds shift the cost to them.
I don't think a physical wall is necessary but I don't know if Trump can back away from that since it was such an integral part of his campaign. Enforce the current laws and make STIFF fines for employers who hire illegals (take away the reason for them to come here). Get rid of sanctuary cities. For those who are here, pay a fine, join the back of the line and no citizenship for 20 years - make them integrate and learn how to speak English - no pockets of little cities of wherever they came from. No H1B visas.
My wish list:
1. lower corporate tax rate to make the US the lowest in developed nations and close loop holes - offer amnesty to trillions parked abroad with the understanding that it'll be used to create jobs.
2. stop bringing in refugees from any ISIS country & do everything you can to destroy ISIS.
3. implement above immigration policy
4. repeal and replace ACA
5. raise SS and Medicare age & link to life expectancy.
6. return education to the states and encourage school choice.

It hasn't so far.
The man's ego is far too big to know limits, and handing a huge ego the presidency, isn't going to help that problem.
We absolutely need to be bringing in more Syrian refugees, not less.
Luke 6:20-21 Then he looked up at his disciples and said: ‘Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.Luke 4:16-19 When he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, he went to the synagogue on the sabbath day, as was his custom. He stood up to read, and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written:
‘The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.’Matthew 25:34-36 Then the king will say to those at his right hand, “Come, you that are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.”Mark 10:21-22 Jesus, looking at him, loved him and said, “You lack one thing; go, sell what you own, and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.” When he heard this, he was shocked and went away grieving, for he had many possessions.Luke 14:12-14 He said also to the one who had invited him, “When you give a luncheon or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, in case they may invite you in return, and you would be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind. And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you, for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”Seems to me, the moral duty to our fellow human beings here is fairly clear, especially for people who call themselves followers of Jesus. We have allowed other countries to shoulder most of the burden, and sit on our hands, because of what amounts to cowardice.Luke 16:19-25 “There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously every day. And at his gate lay a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, who longed to satisfy his hunger with what fell from the rich man’s table; even the dogs would come and lick his sores. The poor man died and was carried away by the angels to be with Abraham. The rich man also died and was buried.

"ISIS country"?![]()
Trumps position on this amounts to full-on cowardice, IMO.
"Doing the right thing is dangerous, so we won't do it".
It is especially craven, as the collective danger is so small.
We pay the price of 30,000 lives every year for the privilege and convenience of driving cars, but can't find the balls to let in hundreds of thousands of desperate human beings, because some tiny few jackasses will kill a few dozen of us?
I think we were better than that.
We need "Law and Order".
