There is no more excuses for this team this year!!If they draft bush, trade for moulds, Johnson is healthy, Carr's contract extension...Offense looks pretty explosive, but then there's the o-line (not sure if they up graded or not). They play in pretty weak division so maybe they could muster a record of 8-8 or 9-7...

Kubiak is good with the O-line, but it will take mroe than one season to fix teh Texans

Colts are for real, but the jags will only be contending for #5 or 6 wildcard birth (not a very scary team)..Also you have the ravens and ans which yes, between these teams the texans should have a conference record of at least 4-4!!!

    Andre Johnson, Eric Moulds

The texans could be very good if they had a decent o-linel. carr is awsome and just needs some time to throw without pressure. if they do improve the o-line i see them MAYBE beatin the jags for the wildcard.

Moulds is officially a Texan. He will be a solid number 2 guy behind AJ. If they can get in a good blocking scheme, and Reggie Bush, they will have a solid offense. If they can even get a decent D in place, they will have a nice team. Maybe not playoff bound, but definitely a step in the right direction.

Why don't they try to get there own good team name instead of ripping off the whole state? Texans as a team name sucks. No ball people in Suits paid off by Jerry Jones came up with that one.

They didn't rip the name off from the state. They ripped it off the old Dallas Texans football teams.

Dallas Texans (NFL) 1952 team in the National Football League.
Dallas Texans (AFL) 1960-1962 team that is now Kansas City Chiefs
Dallas Texans (Arena) 1990s Arena Football League team

I believe the people of Houston voted for the name.
