I completely agree. Compared to a few decades back, humanity in the USA is pathetic.
Most American kids just aren't fit to go to college. Sorry, but this generation is really, really ing stupid...not just due to the public school system, but overall bad parenting and lack of parents in general.
I completely agree. Compared to a few decades back, humanity in the USA is pathetic.
I'm not the one starting threads about how great Trump is so I don't need to defend the guy. And you just admitted you have no idea if the Shillary's plan is fully paid for.
No its just her bull excuse for when her plan doesn't go through. Passing the buck along
But don't you see my friend, therein lies the tragedy. Too many people worried about a Trump presidency that Bernie was purposefully swept under the rug, not just by the media, but by the DNC itself. I'm not saying anything was fixed or whatever. But it's absolutely factual pointing out the party establishment and the corporate media showed strong favoritism towards the Clinton camp. Purely objectively speaking, the Democratic Party, other than Big O, seems akin to a circus act. Just because the Trump Show owns center stage doesn't make that any less true.
Amazon Suddenly Stops Selling Student Loans
"The promotion has ended," a bank spokesperson said. After more than a year of preparation, Amazon's partnership with Wells Fargo to sell student loans barely lasted six weeks. An anonymous reader quotes Bloomberg: It's another black eye for Wells Fargo's student loan business, which just last week agreed to pay $3.6 million to the federal Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to settle claims that it misled borrowers, illegally charged certain fees, and processed payments in a way designed to maximize late fees. Wells Fargo neither admitted nor denied wrongdoing.
The article sites a consumer advocate who both Amazon and Wells Fargo were hiding the high costs of the loans, as well as their inflexible terms for repayment, in a "cynical attempt to dupe current students." The Washington Post noted that interest rates for community colleges and for-profit ins utions "can climb to nearly 14%."
I wonder why she is saying this oh wait she wants the younger generation vote
It'll probably work. Trump on the other hand seems content with the middle-aged, uneducated, white vote thinking that will be enough to win it.
Do you think he should promise debt free college (which is unlikely to pass if Repubs hold the House) just to get young people's votes? How else could he go after their vote (other than more jobs)?
most young people would vote for trump if he would wipe away their student debt it only came out months ago
Most people would vote bin laden president if he wiped away their debt.
It is a huge issue for young people.
Find that math yet or are you still looking for it?
yes they want to buy new cars new mansion and not pay for their education
(shakes head) You and other Republicans keep ting on millennials, see how that works out for you.
The party establishment went against Hillary in 08. Party establishment tends to think more strategically than your average voter. That is just the way things are. People go with their gut a lot more than one might think.
Bernie lost, he just... lost.
Try some intellectual honesty. You know he was pushed to that loss, helped along, as it were, by the DNC. Emails prove it.
I can't remember when you got on the DNC payroll, was it in '06, '08, '10 or '12? You weren't a shill then, just a of a poster.
Why would you expect a centist Democrat party to nominate a socialist instead of a center right candidate like Clinton?
Sure, be happy to admit that the scales were thumbed a bit. That is honest. I have readily acceded to that.
By how much? Enough to make a difference?
3,775,000 votes difference?
As for when I became a very convinced Democrat... about 2003. (iraq war) The fact that the crazies have taken over the GOP have made me very, very comfortable with that.
Up until a few years ago, I still had my "McCain 2000" t-shirt. Shoulda kept it.
Many on the right don't see the Democratic party as centrist. That is how sucessful the Fox "news" et al. propaganda is.
The drum beat of "liberal media" boogeyman stories have even reasonable people like 101 believing that.
Because he had excitement and enthusiasm behind him, as well as negatives below 50%, along with millennials turning out in great numbers almost exclusively for him. Many times a small, enthusiastic, group TRUMPS a larger, less enthusiastic one (see what I did there?)
After all, exactly what parts of the traditional Republican platform does Trump represent? It's a weird year, weird things happen.
Also, doesn't matter what I think. There is proof that the DNC was in the tank for Hillary. We'll never know what would have happened had they not been, or what other candidates never got in because they saw the writing on the wall.
I'm not going to look for it but he started a thread some years ago declaring himself an Democrat. He's been a shill ever since. He was always left leaning but at least he used to think for himself before he decided to tow the party line.
Nah, it wasn't '03. You joined here in '05, and I remember the transformation, so it had to have been after that. I wish I had Winhole's ability to recall threads from a decade ago, or how to search to find what I'm looking for....or if I wasn't so lazy.
I bet if we could see his tax records, we could figure it out.
