It's almost a self fulfilling prophecy; many minorities tend to thing the GOP is racist or has racist elements to it and then they up and nominate a racist with a 40 year track record of saying and doing racist things, who's racking up endorsements from white supremacists .

Not a fan of the Bushes (GW, W, Jeb) or McCain and Romney but at least they have the balls to stick to their beliefs about their party and refuse to vote for him
I liked GW for not getting us into WWIII when the Berlin Wall fell. Though I disagreed with a lot of things he did that was pretty huge. Someone like Reagan would have egged on the communist hardliners in the USSR and gotten Gorbachev overthrown, probably leading to a shooting war in East Germany.

EMOTIONAL OBAMA TEARFULLY THANKS TRUMP FOR GRANTING HIM CITIZENSHIP

WASHINGTON — Calling this “the greatest day of my life,” a visibly moved Barack Obama held a news conference on Friday to thank Donald Trump for granting him U.S. citizenship.

    “The issue of

whether or not I was a U.S. citizen has been a dark cloud

over my existence for as long as I can remember,” a tearful Obama told the press corps.

“Only one man had the courage, wisdom, and doggedness to make that cloud go away: Donald J. Trump.”

The President, who had to halt several times during his remarks to compose himself,

praised the Republican Presidential nominee for “never giving up” in his quest to prove that Obama was born in the U.S.

“A weaker man would have said, ‘I don’t need this in my life,’ but Donald Trump was always there for me,” the President said.

“Over the past five years, barely a day went by when he didn’t call me and say,

‘Barack, I don’t care what a bunch of crackpots say. You were born here, and I’m going to prove it once and for all.’ “

The President said he planned to spend the day celebrating his U.S. citizenship with his family.

“It’s great to be an American, at last,” he said.

    When asked if he had

    any message for Trump,

the President paused for a moment.

“Just this: I love you,” he said, a tear trickling down his cheek.

ENDORSEMENT OF TRUMP TO PLAY KEY ROLE IN CHRISTIE’S INSANITY DEFENSE

TRENTON — If Chris Christie faces prosecution for an alleged role in the so-called Bridgegate scandal, his endorsement of Donald Trump could play a crucial role in an insanity defense, legal experts believe.

Harland Dorrinson, a defense attorney who has represented many politicians in high-profile criminal cases, believes that

Christie’s endorsement of Trump earlier this year could persuade a jury that the New Jersey Governor is “completely incapable of rational thought.”

“An insanity defense is always a long shot, because the bar for insanity is set very high,” Dorrinson said. “Having said that, I believe that Christie’s endorsement of Trump easily meets that standard.”

If Christie is prosecuted, his defense team is likely to show the jury footage of Trump routinely humiliating the New Jersey Governor on the campaign trail. “It will become abundantly clear that Christie endorsed Trump and received absolutely no conceivable benefit for doing so,” Dorrinson said. “Legally speaking, the only word for that is insane.”

    Additionally,

Christie’s lawyers can argue that he begged Trump to name him his Vice-Presidential nominee,

even after it was abundantly clear that the billionaire had no intention of doing so.

    “Seriously, that was crazy,”

    Dorrinson said.

If Christie’s legal team succeeds with an insanity defense, the New Jersey Governor could avoid prison and be sent to a psychiatric facility instead, Dorrinson believes. “As long as he’s being held someplace where he can do no harm, the people of New Jersey should be happy,” he said.

Oh yeah, Hillary hasnt done anything shady with her charity. I could post a million articles about how trashy Clinton is too and her transgressions are far worse than Trumps.
According to their audited financial statements they spent almost 90% of all the dollars given on the stated charitable mission of the foundation, with the majority of the remaining dollars going to administrative overhead.
    Program Percentage : 88 %

    https://www.charitywatch.org/ratings...foundation/478

By any measure it is a well run charity, and the Clintons materially didn't benefit from it, other than the publicity involved in having a well-run charity with your name on it.

Here is a link that shows how that money is spent:
    https://www.clintonfoundation.org/our-work

Not sure what you think the problem is.
Too Small to Fail, a joint initiative of the Clinton Foundation and The Opportunity Ins ute, is leading a public awareness and action campaign to promote the importance of early brain and language development and to empower parents with tools to talk, read, and sing with their young children from birth. Almost 60 percent of American children start kindergarten unprepared, lagging behind their peers in critical language, math, and social-emotional skills. Research shows that simple, everyday interactions with young children – like describing objects seen during a walk or bus ride, singing songs, or telling stories – can build their vocabularies, prepare them for school, and lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
Maybe you think children shouldn't be read to?

    That is horrible.

Be specific. What do you think is wrong here.

There would be no conflicts, he said, because he would put his company, the Trump Organization, into a blind trust.

[/I][COLOR=#505050]The global conflicts that could undermine national security are in Trump’s branding business.

He has many overseas partners with undisclosed ties to factions within their governments; a troubling number of them are criminals or under indictment.
The thing that makes the "blind trust" fail is the large real estate assets with Trumps name emblazoned everywhere in gold lettering.

You might not know what specific stock or bond assets your trustee would choose to invest in, but large commercial real estate ventures branded with your name on it is impossible to design a "blind" for.

Elizabeth Warren: 'Nasty Little Bully' Trump Has 'Dark and Ugly Soul'

    Warren targeted him for

"inviting his followers to commit a terrible act of violence on his opponent,"

    charging only

"a little bully who can't win in a fair fight"

    would do such a thing.

"Trump has led the charge on the "birther" movement and only when his handlers tied him down and made him did he finally admit that it wasn't true."

"What kind of a man does that? A man with a dark and ugly soul. A man that will never be president,"

You didnt read my post obviously and Im more comfortable with a crack dealer than Hillary so posing that question is re ed
I am an accountant/auditor with 10+ years of on the job experience and with education and job experience that involves dozens of hours of graduate level finance courses.

    The question:

Are you comfortable with the president of the United States directly owing billions of dollars to foreign banks and creditors, like say, Russia or China?

    Is a very relevant question.

If it were re ed you could easily answer it, but yet you didn't. Why is that?

Like Bishop Gekko's old tax returns, Trash's and Trash's companies' indebtedness to foreign sources is a secret, so we are free to assume Trash, like Bishop Gekko, has seriously plenty to hide.

Head to head reinforces my point. Without third party candidates Hillary gains 8 point and Trump only gains 3. Trump stays stuck at that 40% mark. His support isn't growing. Hillary has just sunk to his level (the same level he's been stuck at all along) when all 4 candidates are involved.

Seriously though, let's go into the rabbit hole.

    http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/21/us...debt.html?_r=0

But an investigation by The New York Times into the financial maze of Mr. Trump’s real estate holdings in the United States reveals that companies he owns have at least $650 million in debt — twice the amount than can be gleaned from public filings he has made as part of his bid for the White House. The Times’s inquiry also found that Mr. Trump’s fortunes depend deeply on a wide array of financial backers, including one he has cited in attacks during his campaign.

For example, an office building on Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan, of which Mr. Trump is part owner, carries a $950 million loan. Among the lenders: the Bank of China, one of the largest banks in a country that Mr. Trump has railed against as an economic foe of the United States, and Goldman Sachs, a financial ins ution he has said controls Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee, after it paid her $675,000 in speaking fees.

Real estate projects often involve complex ownership and mortgage structures. And given Mr. Trump’s long real estate career in the United States and abroad, as well as his claim that his personal wealth exceeds $10 billion, it is safe to say that no previous major party presidential nominee has had finances nearly as complicated.

As president, Mr. Trump would have substantial sway over monetary and tax policy, as well as the power to make appointments that would directly affect his own financial empire. He would also wield influence over legislative issues that could have a significant impact on his net worth, and would have official dealings with countries in which he has business interests.

Yet The Times’s examination underscored how much of Mr. Trump’s business remains shrouded in mystery. He has declined to disclose his tax returns or allow an independent valuation of his assets.
Problem is, that real estate partnerships tend to be opaque, and don't disclose public finances the way publicly traded companies do.
For example, an office building on Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan, of which Mr. Trump is part owner, carries a $950 million loan. Among the lenders: the Bank of China
You have to dig at it indirectly, through figuring out the liens on the properties that are owned.

In the final analysis, if your net (assets minus liabilities) is in the billions, then given the normal leverage in large real-estate transactions, and Trumps own statements regarding how he views debt, "billions" is not much of a stretch. known + probable

I’m the king of debt. I’m great with debt. Nobody knows debt better than me,” Trump told Norah O’Donnell in an interview that aired on “CBS This Morning.” “I’ve made a fortune by using debt, and if things don’t work out I renegotiate the debt. I mean, that’s a smart thing, not a stupid thing.”

As of Tuesday, we're now about 49 days away from Nov. 8. The presidential election is almost certainly coming down to a choice between Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, who has turned the entire election process upside down with his unprecedented embrace of harsh rhetoric against nearly every voting demographic other than white men. With that in mind, here are 49 controversial things Trump has said. Consider this both a refresher for election-wary citizens and for anyone who has lived underground for the past year or so.

All of these quotes are entirely real things said by Trump on the campaign trail (collected from old Newsday, Vox, PBS, am New York and past International Business Times articles.)

    1. Kicking off his campaign talking about Mexican immigrants:

"When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."

    2. A debunked claim about Muslims on 9/11:
"I watched when the World Trade Center came tumbling down. And I watched in Jersey City, New Jersey, where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down. Thousands of people were cheering."

    3. On shooting someone:

"You know what else they say about my people? The polls, they say I have the most loyal people. Did you ever see that? Where I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any voters, okay? It’s like incredible."

    4. On Fox News anchor and debate moderator Megyn Kelly:

"You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her — wherever."

    5. On Republican primary opponent Carly Fiorina:

"Look at that face. Would anybody vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president? I mean, she's a woman, and I'm not s'posedta say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?"

    6. A written statement from the campaign calling for the U.S. to ban Muslims from entering the country:

"Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on. According to Pew Research, among others, there is great hatred towards Americans by large segments of the Muslim population."

    7. On waterboarding, which many consider torture:

"I would bring back waterboarding and I'd bring back a of a lot worse than waterboarding."

    8. On Islam, in an interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper:

"I think Islam hates us ... There's a tremendous hatred."

    9. On Clinton playing the "woman card":

"She's playing that card like I've never seen anyone play it before."

    10. On a protester:

"Maybe he should have been roughed up, because it was absolutely disgusting what he was doing."

    11. On a National Enquirer conspiracy theory that linked the father of GOP primary rival Ted Cruz and the killer of President John F. Kennedy:

"His father was with Lee Harvey Oswald prior to Oswald's being — you know, shot. I mean, the whole thing is ridiculous... What is this, right prior to his being shot, and nobody even brings it up. They don't even talk about that. That was reported, and nobody talks about it."

    12. On Clinton taking a bathroom break during a debate:

"It's too disgusting. Don't say it, it's disgusting."

    13. A tweet in response to the mass shooting in Orlando that killed 49 people:

"Appreciate the congrats for being right on radical Islamic terrorism, I don't want congrats, I want toughness & vigilance. We must be smart!"14. After seeing the Democratic National convention, which featured the Muslim parents of U.S. soldier who died in 2004 serving with the U.S. Army in Iraq:
"I saw him. He was, you know, very emotional. And probably looked like — a nice guy to me. His wife, if you look at his wife, she was standing there. She had nothing to say. She probably — maybe she wasn't allowed to have anything to say."

    15. In response to a challenge from Khizr Khan, father of the fallen soldier, who said Trump has sacrificed nothing:

"I think I've made a lot of sacrifices. I work very, very hard. I've created thousands and thousands of jobs, tens of thousands of jobs, built great structures. I've had tremendous success. I think I've done a lot."

    16. On the election's fairness:

"I'm afraid the election is going to be rigged, I have to be honest."

    17. On Cruz's wife:

"Lyin' Ted Cruz just used a picture of Melania from a shoot in his ad. Be careful, Lyin' Ted, or I will spill the beans on your wife!"

    18. A tweet about the Wall Street Journal:

"They better be careful or I will unleash big time on them"

    19. A tweet about the New York Times:

"My lawyers want to sue the failing @nytimes so badly for irresponsible intent. I said no (for now), but they are watching. Really disgusting"20. During a debate in response to a question about him calling women, "fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals":
    "Only Rosie O'Donnell."

    21. On America's lack of greatness:

"Our country is in serious trouble. We don’t win anymore… We can’t beat Mexico, at the border or in trade. We can’t do anything right."

    22. On Clinton's armed guards:

"I think that her bodyguards should drop all weapons…I think they should disarm immediately. What do you think, yes? Take their guns away — she doesn't want guns…Let's see what happens to her ... Take their guns away, okay? It'll be very dangerous."

    23. A comment that many believed suggested an assassination attempt on Clinton:

"Hillary wants to abolish — essentially abolish the Second Amendment. By the way, if she gets to pick, if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don't know."

    24. On John McCain, who spent more than five years in awful conditions, and was tortured, as a prisoner of war while serving in the Vietnam War:
"He’s not a war hero... He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured."

    35. To NBC reporter Katy Tur:

"She’s back there, little Katy... a third-rate reporter."

    36. To Russian hackers, about Clinton's emails as secretary of state:

"Russia, if you're listening, I hope you're able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing."

    37. To his supporters about protesters at a rally:

"If you see somebody with a tomato, knock the crap out of them."

    38. On Russian President Vladimir Putin, after MSNBC's Joe Scarborough said the Russia leader "kills journalists, political opponents and invades countries":

"He's running his country, and at least he's a leader, unlike what we have in this country."

    39. About a person attending a rally:

"Look at my African-American over here."

    40. On ending his birtherism after years of claims President Barack Obama was not born in the U.S.:
"President Barack Obama was born in the United States. Period."

    41. On Obama and the so-called Islamic State group, also called ISIS:

"He is the founder of ISIS."

    42. On Clinton and ISIS:

"And, I would say the co-founder would be crooked Hillary Clinton."

    43. On hand size (and innuendo at something else):

"Look at these hands. ... I guarantee you there is no problem."

    44. A tweet about the Chicago shooting-death of the cousin of NBA player Dwayne Wade:

"Dwyane Wade's cousin was just shot and killed walking her baby in Chicago. Just what I have been saying. African-Americans will VOTE TRUMP!"

    45. On former presidential candidate Mitt Romney, who has spoken out against Trump but once sought his endorsement:
"You can see how loyal he is. He was begging for my endorsement. I could have said, 'Mitt, drop to your knees.' He would have dropped to his knees."

    46. Talking about a reporter with a disability, while making a motion many thought was mocking the man:

"You oughta see this guy, 'Uh, I don't know what I said, uh, I don't remember.'"

    47. On his daughter Ivanka in a Rolling Stone profile:
"Yeah, she's really something, and what a beauty, that one. If I weren't happily married and, ya know, her father . . . "

    48. On Ford's plans to build a factory in Mexico:

"They're going to build a plant and illegals are going drive those cars right over the border ... And they'll probably end up stealing the cars,"

    49. On his sources for a claim that a man who stormed his stage was tied to ISIS:

"Now, I don't know. What do I know about it? All I know is what's on the Internet."
