I think Clinton won this debate just by looking reasonably healthy. That video of her collapsing is what dragged her down in the recent polls, but she didn't look like a corpse this time.

That's the thing. Trump was the one that didn't look healthy. He was sniffing all night like he had a coke habit. He just unraveled terribly in the last half of the debate. And when he went on about Hillary's stamina it sounded ridiculous. She hadn't taken a sip of water all night and he was drinking water like his name was Rubio.

When the "stamina" was raised did you guys think Hillary might touch the obvious White Elephant in the room and address her pneumonia?

I think she's too phony to respond about that and I guess did okay in blathering about her 112 trips to foreign countries. The audience clapped and hooted.

In hindsight, the debate was meaningless. Nothing of substance was actually discussed. Each candidate got to make their usual talking points, but beyond that nothing meaningful. The fact that we're talking about like the moderator and zingers! instead of the fact that this was kabuki is why it's giant v turd sandwhich

Actually the point about reassuring our allies wasn't meaningless. The discussion of trickle down tax plans and him hiding his returns wasn't meaningless. I imagine her discussion on race will alienate a lot of white boomer males but resonate with other demographics.

I get why you want to dismiss the debate as meaningless because your preference got his ass handed to him though.
