His brand is all about success, he was born on 3rd base and acts as though he's self made. He lost $916 million, this is a big hit to that brand, worse yet he seemingly tried to cover it up.

Exactly. I don't care so much about Trump not paying taxes but I do care that he touts himself as a great businessman while refusing to show any proof that he actually is. Who knows how much money his businesses have lost in the last 15 years? How is he keeping himself afloat? I've always found it strange that a "billionaire" needed to come up with a get-rich-quick scheme like Trump University to scam Americans out of their money. To me that's a sign of desperation that someone is hard up for cash rather than drowning in success. Trump is a narcissist and I'm sure if his tax records in the last 20 years were in his favor he would release them and flaunt them in a heartbeat. The fact that he won't (even the records that aren't under audit) is su ious.
http://www.nytimes.com/2016/06/22/us...-payments.htmlThe spending raised eyebrows among campaign finance experts and some of Mr. Trump’s critics who have questioned whether the presumptive Republican nominee, who points to his business a en as a case for his candidacy, is trying to do what he has suggested he would in 2000 when he mulled making an independent run: “It’s very possible that I could be the first presidential candidate to run and make money on it.”
“He could end up turning a profit if he repaid himself for the campaign loans,” said Paul S. Ryan, a campaign finance expert with the Campaign Legal Center. “He could get all his money back plus the profit margin for what his campaign has paid himself for goods and services.”
The New York Times risked legal trouble to publish Donald Trump’s tax return

new york times paid no taxes in 2014
the NYT isn't running for president
Trump 2016 is even more inept than Hilary 2008, and he has no one to blame but himself.
Trump also lost an additional 800 million dollars as of last year according to a Forbes investigation. What a ing moron.
Nobody cares how much he made or loss. We are all too busy checking out sex tape.
Trump needs to win to leverage the Old Post Office deal and to keep Deutche Bank's bacon out of the grease -- no other bank will lend to him.
Trump chose not to control the timing of the release of his tax information -- a bad strategic mistake.
This is one of the dumbest ing things I've ever read on this forum.

So when Donald Ducks says the system is rigged, he clearly is not talking about the tax code that allows him and other multimillionaires and billionaires to avoid paying taxes. And no one is dismissing the Clinton's of anything except that they have released tax returns. And of course we can learn absolutely nothing about tax returns...according to Donald.
Good to know that the tax code is not part of the rigging he is referring to.
What an utter piece of ...
What does rigged mean? It implies using an unfare rule. What's it mean ducks? Hmmmm?
Fckn hypocrite.
You guys act like you have never heard of loss carry forwards.
Trump's accountants doing a good job will be perceived as not fair - even if it is legal. Which one of you goes around refusing tax deductions/credits/benefits/etc. for the sake of paying your fair share? I don't know about you, but I take every single legal tax deduction/credit/benefit that I can.
To the tune of a billion dollars...
I will ask again:
When Trump refers to a rigged system does this include the tax code?
Trump was too deemed to big to fail by the banks that he owed. This sounds familiar. Not only that, he uses the legal tax code on a gigantic scale. But the welfare cheats...
Disgusting hypocrites...
I do to. But I always owe, and owe big. I think the last time I got off free was just out of college. And you know what, I SHOULD OWE EVERY YEAR. Because this country has allowed me to prosper. This country. So yes I owe and I pay.
lol a racist homeschooling mom in Florida pretending to economically relate to a billionaire.
So Trump is an expert at using the tax code and leverage banks. Make him president. People who know how to take care of enormous wealth obviously are uniquely tied to the pulse of this country. , everyone likes to hide their money. Who here likes to spend other people's money?
Good deal. He is our man. An outsider who can clean things up in government. What a Fckn joke...
Back when the GOP Primary clown car was overflowing, Trump said that "the hedge fund guys are getting away with murder" when it comes to taxes and that "they'll pay more" under his plan. Interesting that (a) he didn't mention real estate developers like himself and (b) both hedge fund managers and Trump himself will end up with a lower tax liability under Trump's plan.
