This season was just off somehow. Didn't like it as much as the first.
I thought the music and filming was good for the finale. Although I am frustrated that phase 2 wasn't done... and we have to wait a long time to see if it actually happens. The Darlene interrogation scene was a little long, but seeing her reaction on how much INFO on the board they had was classic.
This season had very little direction with tons of confusion. Although I enjoyed it, I hope season 3 moves along with more story rather than mind tricks. Esmail messing around with us is fine, but I think he tends to overdo it at times. What I liked about breaking bad was that it just moved at a perfect pace with story, Mr. Robot is just inconsistent.

so far watched 5 episodes of season 1, it's been rough, possibly the most childish show I've ever watched, unless it's a parody. this is a parody, right?
Lead actor is great. Show is great as a stand alone show. Two episodes in I was seeing Fight Club and Beautiful Mind all over again. Its paper thin "reveal" waiting to happen turned me off. Also, it tries to be smart and fails with too many cliche emo monologues.
Slater was god awful and reminded me of the finale for The Newsroom, almost carbon copy.
If you recall season 1 the chick came to his place with that movie for them to watch, said it was his favorite.
Terrible.
They delayed it almost 5 months from their usual start up date.
Is season 2 any good? I loved the first season but for some reason, missed the beginning of the 2nd and haven't watched any of it yet.
Yeah, they're going swimming with the sharks to make this a fall show. I enjoyed this over the past 2 summers.
Yeah season 2 is good. Looks like you have plenty of time to knock it out now.
Season 2 is way different than season 1. I liked it a lot better, but it's a lot slower buildup. Be patient early on, it ends up being worth it.
Season 2 was another silly reveal. I get the poetic license bull but eventually you have to call a spade a spade. They spent half the season on things that, in the end, didn't matter because they never happened. That's what happens when you don't have enough material for a series - you do the "it was all a dream" JR - Dallas bull . This time it was the "I couldn't reveal it to you" angle.
Still, pretty damn good show, lead actor is a stud and perfect in that role. It just feels like a rip off of Fight Club way too much. They take too much liberty with the 4th wall, which would be fine if it was a movie instead of a series that has to find a way to keep going. I lost trust in their honesty to the plot.
The scenes happened, but not in the way they initially appeared to.
But yes, it does feel like Sam Esmail is trying too hard to subvert expectations.
13 months between season 2 finale and season 3 premier. smh. I will have to rewatch the finale just to remember all the goings on.
Pathetic tbh.
I'm putting this series on pause until it ends. I'll rewatch the whole series in a few years and pick up the new seasons as I rewatch.
How's that pathetic isn't that average time?
But yeahhhh I don't remember most of season 2 at all. Was so hard to follow. May have to rewatch season 2 and put season 3 on hold.
DVR’d it. Will try & watch soon
Was it really that long? Didn’t seem like it tbh. One episode into Season 3 and it’s still a blatant Fight Club ripoff, but I still don’t mind too much

episode 2 of season 3 was good stuff tbh,..
Tyrell’s wife was one of my favorite characters. She deserved better than to get killed by her dumbass boy toy.
Commercial free episode tomorrow. Something bad's gonna happen. RIP Darlene?
That axe murder was ing awesome
I think this was my favorite season so far.
