Didn't see the game (internet was terrible during a thunder storm here in Kiev) but I am a) happy about Bertans and b) just beginning to be worried about Dedmon. Is his lack of boards effort or something else obvious?

Yeah I didn't see the game either so can't say much. Fortunately I'll be making a game in about a week. Look forward to seeing these guys play. The games, as you know, aren't televised. Did hear most of the first half on the radio. Was really glad to hear about Bertans! Just what we need...

Can't say what happens with J.Simms ultimately, but hoping for the best with him. If he doesn't play a more solid game, the occasional dunk notwithstanding, it's pointless to even bring up the subject of Manu deferring to him. He hasn't earned it. I thought they wanted to get J.Simms time in the rotation, but so far he seems to be the 11th man and IMO he might lose that spot to Bertans.

I can't say I like Dedmon yet and I have my concerns with Lee.

This is what worries me:

I agree about Simmons btw, he just didn't improve at all since last season, he still has poor handles, a shaky jumpshot and bad decision-making, I don't think the Spurs are happy with this either

As for Dedmon I think we'll just have to wait, there's not many other options with him being our only proper backup C anyway, but there are clearly sides of his game he needs to work on and he will also take his time to adapt to our system, I believe he can be a solid role player and contribute
I can't see him and Lee working as a pair though, it won't take long till Bertans breaks into the rotation as the first PF off the bench imo

Going out on a limb here, but we may have one of the top 2 Latvians in the league. And ours has an easier name to spell.

Omg, I just realized that:

PAU GASOL ========= Ramon Fernandez of the Spurs!!!!!!!!!

And Ramon, along with Manu, is my favorite player of all time!!!

(So, this year it's like my two fave players of all time are with the Spurs!!!!!!)

Of course, Wilt is my other fav player.......but......

IM TOTALLY EXCITED FOR THIS SEASON.....from the get-to until the conclusion.

1.) Manure shot 2 more times than Parker in LESS minutes. Parker went 7/8, Manure went 4/10.

2.) Parker had 2 assists, same as Manure.

3.) He tried to take over the game without playing in the 4th quarter?

4.) Its the preseason re .

parker had 2 assists and 1 turnover as the starting point guard

manu had 2 assists and 0 turnovers as a shooting guard off the bench.
