I'll hate to see Lapro go.
I want him somewhere else so fast... I don't want to see him on the court this half. At all.
I'll hate to see Lapro go.
Lapro can shoot!
Forbes making the most out of his chance
Same. He's not half-bad at all. Can pass, shoot, gives great effort.
Lapro's greatest benefit to the team this game was showing that they need him to run during emergencies.
I mean, you were talking about the future, minus Manu, plus Murray. I have high hopes that Murray will unlearn looking like Brandon Jennings, but not quite sold on it. Dedmon also looks like a bust, IMO.
Forbes and Lapro both better than J.simms right now.
He's almost certainly the best pure point guard on the roster.
He's trying to draw the fouls but it'll affect his FG% since players have to force the thing to get some contact.
He's also changing his spots, less post-ups and more driving to the hoop. But he should continue with his old game against smaller defenders, in this game he was defending by Waiters in some possessions and didn't post up him.
And with Spurs low pace and a bunch of new guys, non-scorers, I'm not sure if these new offense it's sustainable.
Playing Patty, Manu and Simms together doesn't help. Pop should avoid these backcourt lineups Parker-Patty, Parker-Simms, Patty-Manu, Patty-Simms.
Every season I expect that Pop lets one of Kawhi/Danny on court....but he doesn't.
that mexican laprolatova sucks too
Dead corpses, placed upon poles would have been better than Jonny. That guy... the epitome of wasted effort. Thank Christ he's getting some paychecks.
Save 'em, buddy.
Watching LJC progress I cannot help but think Tony's team has ty coaching.
Can the Spurs just cut and send lapro, garino, and Forbes to toros and call them up for the 15th slot as needed?
For the better. Field goal attempt isn't counted if you're fouled. Kawhi evaded contact enough to miss the shot but not get the whistle as much as anyone in the league last year.
That makes zero sense. They can do that while also keeping someone on the roster.
Was rooting for Simmons tbh, but if he makes the team over either of those two it'd be a travesty (albeit one I think Pop will perform).
They've always sucked. Is it those old guys that always put up the ref monitor?
Lol, you are so literal.
Definitely sold on him since the first game. Only bc Forbes is such a pure scorer and there is only one spot. I think Spurs should pick up both.
A recipe for disaster, defensively.
Much better showing from Dedmon tonight. Let's hope its a step in the right direction.
