Dez Bryant out... I'm officially changing my pick, and now have the Packers winning straight-up.
My new "surprise" pick of the week is for Jacksonville to beat Chicago on the road, since Chicago is the (home) favorite.
Beating the Bucs could have helped... but now that the NFC South has a legit #1 team (who you already have a loss to), the WC is likely your regular season ceiling, and to get there you'll have to win at least 10 games... maybe 11. Starts today.

But I do agree McNair is an idiot.
Schaub was a good bus driver during that time, y'all had the best defense in the NFL, and Foster and Andre Johnson man... yes, you should have went all in for a new franchise QB somewhere along the line, but hard to mess with success.
But here is the difference. McNair never wants to tank and draft an actual QB. He keeps going for these stopgap QBs and thats what doomed Kubiak here. Also bringing that waffle Rick Smith here didn't help him either. Kubiak leaves Houston and wins a ring because he has an actual GM. Rick Smith is still here and it's more of the same.
2011 was the year they had the best chance to win it all, great offense and stifling defense. That year Schaub injured his lisfranc in his foot and was never the same after that.
You had a legit shot at replacing Schaub with Peyton Manning in the 2012 offseason, though. Probably would have won a championship with Kubiak/Phillips, PM, Foster, Johnson, and the best defense in the NFL.
That's why you sign Manning instead of letting him go to Denver. You win the championship that year if so
