Anyway from what I saw the bencha guys are all playing quite well, the SL is trying to run too much through Pau, which is understandable cause we need him to find his spot asap

Why apologies to Deadman? He looked awful. I only hope Simmons has some more of this left!
He missed two baskets. He's been in good position all the time, he secures rebounds, he has good hands, and he moves well.

I'll make a prediction for the second half. Warriettes going to come out physical, and there's going to be a lot of screaming about the refs not blowing any whistles. It's going to be a tough second half. No matter what, the Spurs didn't get blown out of the gym. But a win here would really be nice.

ing Kawhi has had a bad half - only 18 points.
He's also shutting down Klay "Best 2-way player" Thompson on the other end.

And Pop is coaching his ass off. Wild, especially for Game 1. He's ing ready...
Yea, I thought the same. He called quick timeouts to correct defensive lapses, and is fired up. He's never like this, early on. Even in OKC (I think last year) on opening night, he wasn't that dialed in.

He's gotta coach more with newer guys, and I love how into it he is

Some of its happenstance (Simmons going off, Klay cold) but I do think our size is a problem for them.

People ting on TP, per usual (despite 2014 doesn't happen without him). To actually be objective, he has just sort of been there/neutral.

I want to see him attack a little more and move better off the ball. Patty is showing great improvement there, and his shot appears to not be broken anymore. That is the real criticism for TP tonight -- don't just pass off and clear out, move like Bellinelli.

Patty is +25. Parker is -7.

    QED
Dedmon is +17 and Kawhi is only +7. Lol "advanced" stats.

It's probably unfair to judge him based off this 1 game, especially against GS. He has shown a couple of the same issues he's always had, but he won't be starting all season anyway. He may lose minutes to Simmons though if he doesn't have a better showing while Green is out and Simmons continues to play well.

Yeah, it wasn't supposed to be fair or mean anything. But he looked like ass in the first half of the first game, for sure.

And he's tall. Nice to have a backup big that's actually big.

Was Simmons primarily on Thompson. I saw him play some good defense on him a couple of times, but with all the switching sometimes it's hard to tell who their primary man is.

you must have not been watching close enough. Dedmon was solid; quick on his feet, going after 50/50 balls, good energy. What more do you want?
