Offense looks watchable when Manu is running the point instead of Porker who is getting outplayed by the worst PG from last season.

Aldridge couldn't get his jumper working at all. Glad he has the shootaround before the second half starts to try to get warmed up.

This would be a good opportunity to try Bertans imo. His shooting would be helpful if LMA/Gasol keep ting the bed.

They're guarding it pretty well, though the guards/Leonard really aren't setting him up well.
The double teams really bother LaMarcus because they come at weird spots because he posts up quite far from the hoop and doesn't have the moves to split the double team to open up his vision for the pass out of it. So he ends making jump passes while back away from the defenders, nothing good ever comes from that.

I seem to recall the Spurs looking like utter against OKC in game 1 last year. Lots of time to get fixed. I really wish Pop had the stones to swap Gasol and Dedmon.
Dedmon should've gotten credit for a rebound and assist. That was a very clear touch-pass to Lee at the end. Gotta say, he's been a impressive. If he and Lee can develop chemistry, they can play together. Think Anderson is doing all right. But Danny's not sweating losing his job any time soon. His defense is the key to Kawhi having an MVP year.
Kings are playing their home season opener in a new arena w/ David Stern & the Governor watching from the luxury suits, Spurs are playing just another game against a lotto team.
At this point, Bryn Forbes is a better PG than Hero tbh
We aren't going to win this. This is a classic get close but never take the lead type of game.
I read this question, and it made me think of Warren Zevon. It's halftime, so have a listen. This explains why the Spurs won't be a Top 5 defense this year:
Kyle Anderson's going to need Curry and Klay running off ball to be effective.
