If the country (and civilization) still exist in four years, there won't be a democratic party.

Got ya - I think that is probably fair, but the fact that DEMS put out Hillary (especially with how they railroaded Bernie) says a lot more to me than anything else.
If they would not have trotted out Hillary (and all she represents) and reacted violently with what happened with Bernie, I would buy in more to this logic, but we see the truth now IMO.
This empty promise is what likely put the buffoon over the top.
Those jobs are never coming back. People still haven't figured out that the geopolitical and economic climate was different in the 1950's-1970's when blue collar Americans could hash out a decent middle class living working in plants and factories. World War II left the manufacturing infrastructure of most countries devastated, China was nothing but rural farm land, and India was recovering from their exit of the British Empire. American manufacturing literally had no compe ion so companies were pretty much anchored to operate here. That's obviously not the case anymore. Furthermore, the corporate tax rate was something like 70% then. With manufacturing looking like an important part of tonight’s narrative, it’s worth remembering that politicians tend to make big promises about bringing manufacturing jobs back — promises it is very unlikely they’ll be able to keep. Even if they could, today’s manufacturing jobs aren’t necessarily the high-paying, stable jobs that we tend to remember. As I’ve written before, I wish candidates would talk less about manufacturing and more about how to make service-sector jobs fill the hole they’ve left in the economy.
Andif Trump thinks imposing high tariffs will protect domestic manufacturing jobs. Let's see if his rural, salt-of-the-earth voter base enjoys paying high premiums for televisions, smartphones, and other gadgets down at the local Walmart.
I'm no fan of Hillary, but she was at least business as usual. Trump doesn't have a clue in what he's doing. He still thinks it's the 1950's.
I also blame weepy, sniveling hipster liberal gots for giving Trump's populism wings. Yes, as mentioned, people, white or otherwise, are tired of being censored and chastised by self-righteous 25 year old Huffpo commentators whining about the "injustices" of how Tim Burton doesn't cast enough black people in his movies and telling everyone to "check their privilege." This was blow-back from their half-decade social media crusade against anything even vaguely right-leaning.
A dark day, indeed.
His people.
Warren's people.
The Earth revolves and is round. How old are you?
This could create a New Democratic Party. A Boots type party. Good luck.
Its like bizarro world in here. shillary is in a commanding lead and wi not look back
HOLY HE WON WISCONSIN
How much onus is actually on Obama for how divided the country is right now? I hear it a lot, but I'm not sure what did(or didn't do) that caused the current state of affairs. Seems like something that's been in the works for a while and was inevitable.

Barry should definitely take some of the blame for the state of the Democratic party during his tenure and being an uncle tom to Wall Street... but there's positives too, and IMO, he'll be remembered as a better prez, than, say, dubya (I know, not a high bar).
you mean corrupt Kockistan. no surprise there.

Obama couldn't do anything in 8 years! What does that say about Obama then? What does it say about you and your party that they kept Hillary around and made her a nominee?!
Part of the job is being able to work with others. Instead, it was keep Hillary around so we can trot her out and look at what has happened.
lol CNN with Clinton leading Trump in EV and Fox has Trump leading Clinton.
That in a nuts is what's wrong with the ing media.
ing pieces of s voting 3rd party. So ing stupid.

Really hope Trump wises up, listens to the pros, and ditches his ty policies. Then passes an infrastructure bill, stops the bombing in the ME and gets an immigration reform deal. Who knows, the GOP might even improve its appeal to urban and minority voters.
He doesn't give a . He's done. He's going to go give 3m dollar speeches to Goldman-Sachs and sip martinis off a yacht near Qatar.
if this revokes my citizenship, i still have the Italian and Argie citizenships to fall back to, tbh...
