I don't believe most of these stories are accurate, but some backlash on the day following the election was to be expected, tbh..it's no different than rioting after other controversial events, which is very common, as well..

There will be more incidents on the day of the Inauguration and on the subsequent days, but everything will be back to normal shortly after, tbh..go to work, pay your bills, try to get some pussy, etc..

There were limited reports of protesters harassing reporters and Trump supporters in front of the White House Tuesday evening, but the protesters stepped it up Wednesday in front of the Trump International Hotel in D.C.

Protesters stopped the flow of foot traffic and harassed a well-dressed elderly couple, forcing them to walk on the street around the group as members shouted " Trump," and "how dare you support him?"

The crowd chanted " Trump" repeatedly, while carrying signs that favored "immigrant workers." A local Latino Trump supporter told The Daily Caller News Foundation he was ordered to move along by protesters because he didn’t support diversity.

Media Zombies react with violence first. It's because they'be been conditioned to operate out of their primal reptilian brain. Thank God Trump is going to drain the swamp.

These people doing this to people for their own political views are the real racist, bigots full of hate. Look in the mirror. Just disgusting and sad for humanity and all those people drive by and don't bother to help this man being beat and assaulted. Just sickening. I hope this man is ok, he will be scarred for life because of this attack.

How is it Trump's fault that Democrat PACs and people like George Soros pay violent mobs to riot whenever they don't get their way? How is it his fault that a scary number of liberals are brainwashed enough to violently attack people who didn't support the same candidate as them?

They did the same when Bush was elected in 2000. Was that Bush's fault?

It's also nothing we haven't seen a million times before from unions, BLM, etc. even in non-election years. The left has a long history of using violence, vandalism and riots to try to intimidate normal people into giving them what they want.

More fake-ass stories from people whose lives revolve around victimhood.
...then proceeds to post a thread's worth of videos and images that are every bit as unverifiable.

I guess we know who the post-election ducks of this forum is.

I agree, there is just so much hate and divide in this country and plenty of blame has to be put on Obama for not being a good leader of the people. Trump isn't even in office yet, so it remains to be seen how he can keep the peace, they will still hate no matter what probably. Hillary would have dragged this country down, but they don't hate her because she stands for crime. Obama is the one who has f**ked this country up and caused the hate and divide, Trump is just being used as a punching bag for years of suppressed rage and anger from Obama's incompetence to lead the nation.

Many Trump supporters openly contemplated outright violence and even civil war if Clinton had won.

I agree that there are idiots on both sides. Their chosen polarization has become the biggest problem in our electoral politics and society as a whole.

You have specific examples of this or is this some general complaint that he wasn't Republican enough?

Just my own personal opinion. I am not a republican, I voted for Obama before, I vote for the candidate I feel is right for our country.

So what should Obama have done to be a better leader of people? Or what has he done that shows him to have not been a sufficient leader of people?

The architect of the most racist law in modern American history has been named to Trump's team

Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach has been asked to join President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team.

The team will advise Trump on policy issues leading up to his swearing-in in January, preparing him to begin his first 100 days in office. It’s an unpaid position for Kobach.

Kobach called the transition from Obama’s presidency to Trump’s “one of the sharpest transitions we’ve seen,” a 180-degree turn for the country.

Why should this terrify you? Because Donald Trump has just named one of the most racist politicians in all of America to his transition team. Kris Kobach was the architect of the most racist law in modern American history. SB 1070 passed in Arizona in 2010. What did it mean? If you have brown skin or an accent, police had a right to stop you, detain you and demand you prove your citizenship.

I didn't say it was his fault, did I? I said it was his responsibility. As Obama said, the president is always responsible. He's no longer a candidate. He has to fix this, and he has to make sure it stays fixed.

    It'll be some combination of:
    1. Obama talking about Trayvon Martin's avoidable death (which is unquestionably evidence of his hatred of white people)
    2. Obama acknowledging disproportionate police brutality on minorities (which obviously means he supports black thugs and not the police)
    3. Obama supporting anti-discrimination laws (which can only be explained by as an attempt to marginalize traditional America)

Throw in some stuff about Democrats being the founders of the KKK, the welfare state keeping minorities chained to the "Democrat plantation" and Obama's colonial resentment, and behold - you have the gist of what Limbaugh, Hannity and Breitbart have been feeding their audience.

Probably about the same proportion. The thing about racism and sexism is that it's usually not a "Let me see what your personality is like first" thing.

Haha maybe. But how is it that all those tweets came from dems. How can you judge wether someone is dem or repug based on their looks?

I imagine if it did happen to Trump supporters, they'd either not want to make their choice look bad by blasting fellow supporters or more honestly that they would be sort of ashamed as to what they signed up for. Like what do you when you realize that all the people who thought were your friends are laughing at you, not with you?

It's the Democrats' responsibility to keep their people in line, not Trump's. Hillary and Obama have both talked a good game about respecting the results and upholding the peaceful transition of power, but unless I'm missing something, neither those two nor any of the other leadership figures in their party have come out to condemn the radical left's violent meltdown.

Trump is talking about how he wants to unify the country, but unity is a two-way street. There's not much he can do if the left would rather behave like a bunch of fascists (with the tacit support of the donor class, political establishment and media, mind you) than give him a fair chance and an open mind. He needs to stay on the message of unity, but there also needs to be a good-faith effort from the other side of the aisle to heal the wounds from this election.
