Not if D'Onta goes pro, most BS comment ever seen and so clueless. This team could easily be a 3 win team this year and to get to 10 next year would be close to a miracle even if Foreman stays and i think he is gone.

It's hard to believe this game is on ABC given the two teams records
Texas getting "extreme pressure" from boosters to hire Herman:

And so it begins!
Week to week guys?
He just won a big game.
We must have patience and long term thinking.
Having one less than desirable recruiting class because of keeping or firing a coach should not be as important as the forward view. Is Strong really improving this team I ask the board? Was the W. Virginia game really an improvement despite the loss?
IMO people got unnecessarily excited over the Tech win. I saw the same damn mistakes in the secondary, easy pick plays that we screwed up on despite a good overall defensive plan. The W was good but the same problems were evident. This was not a + for Strong IMO yet I am in the minority. What about W. Virginia, despite the L. Was there real improvement?
I think the decision on Charlie has already been made, one way or the other
That was one of the most embarrassing things I've ever sat through...and I'm a Houston Texans fan.
At least we now have complete clarity. On to ponder who Tom Herman brings with him to Texas. Does Major Applewhite return as OC?
the question i guess is does herman and/or the boosters like what gilbert has done...
i think he has been saved by foreman being so damn good. That offensive play calling was downright in the second half today.
And so it begins...
Bobby Burton of 24/7:
I am told that whatever "rumors" there were about Tom Herman have been overblown.
I am told Texas brass is ready to pursue him.
Baylor and Oregon are the likely compe ion.
Safe to say Strong made this the easiest decision ever.
If this isn't rock bottom, not sure what it looks like.
Those rumors were started by someone on the Houston side of things trying to stir up.
Hopefully Herman is in the first week of December.
Omenihu can cry all he wants he has done little to help this team. If anyone can be upset about doing all they can to help this team with little result, it's Foreman and maybe Malcolm Roach they seem to be the most consistent players.
I was really hoping Charlie could do enough this season to give himself one more year but this is too much. It can't be defended.
