Actually, I watched it on KENS 5 (1005 HD, actually). Sean and Bill were both pretty bland. A lot of "every time the Spurs get a little something going, the Clips have the answer" kind of stuff.
They tried, but they couldn't hedge because a majority of the time they got into Paul's space there was a foul call.

Dedmond and Lee realize they are big men and should be dunking the ball in the paint. I can't say the same for 2 other guys.
...or get Deron Williams on board who has proven he can do MUCH BETTER than 2 pts on 1-8 shooting.![]()
I'm not even talking about just tonight; the Clippers have owned the Spurs for two years now. The team has had the same problems all season but he keeps avoiding the problem/implementing the obvious answers. Things may not be fixable but keeping with the same trends that just won't work is dooming this team.
Inexplicable. Pop screwed up coaching in this one.
I expected to see Kyle again bc he was playing well.... or I would have understood Pop going to Bertans as well bc the team needed some 3 pts shooting to make a run. Instead Davis never played, Kyle only came in when Pop thought the game was over.
Him and Murray tried to make things happen.
Pop benching Kyle this deep is a loss for the team.
He was having games like this last season too.
I suppose it was a test for Simmons... they kept going to him over and over. Maybe Pop has overrated him and he's the real product of Ginobili passes in transition etc....
I mean I liked Dijon more even.
They wont get out of the first round tbh.
Deron Williams is not much better than Parker, I wouldn't touch him with with a ten foot pole either. I rather have Felton tbh![]()
Just a few years back before the playoff series it used to be the opposite, now they own the Spurs.
He's shooting 45% on the season (better than Westbrook for instance). If Parker gets his usage (25 shots a night), he'd be averaging 30+ a game.
No, the Blazers actually beat 'em.![]()
Yes they will, probably won't be as easy as last year though
2nd round will depend who they play.
If they play the Clippers that could be tough.
Yep, I love Patty but the Spurs can't rely on him as their 2nd option. There's too many flaws with this team that I won't be surprised if they lose in the 1st round. It's very 2011/2016 Spurs-ish.
Good logic, Parker can't do better than 1-8. This was literally his best game.
If he has an idea in terms of scheme it won't be revealed in a december game. Some of the they used against the heat in 14 they hadn't done all season. Does he keep going with Pau and LMA? Yes, but this team ain't winning if they keep playing like they do. And this team ain't winning a championship with their other players playing starter minutes.
The horror...
Spurs looked downright pedestrian against Clipper scrubs.
LeBron 5-14 when he actually had Kyrie/Love rolling.
Doc![]()
A pile of little arms... That cannot shoot basketballs.
As if he had has any more talent to get washed away since 2015.![]()
If this team is matched up against Utah/OKC I can see a 2011 Grizz-style meltdown. OKC plays with confidence against the Spurs as well and an imposing frontline; Utah has several former Spurs personnel and are potentially better than the Spurs at every position outside SF.
RC is actually ruthless & cheap, it's Pop giving away those loyalty contracts.
The only thing the could do is trap the ball handler on the PnR & dare Moute/Johnson/Rivers to go off for 30.
They've been toying with the Spurs with that play since '15. It ain't on the refs.
