Let me help you guys with the reading. I apologize for not providing pictures.

I'm seriously trying to recall any time in American history when Americans of either party supported a murderous dictator just to spite other Americans or, particularly, the current American President.

It's au courant to spite the president for a few more weeks, spiting political opponents -- not real Americans! --never goes out of style.

The form of government is no longer held in high esteem. Government as such is considered a thief, except when it gores the opposition's ox.

It's cool to put down the government and any of its officers while democrats are in power. The tune will change after January 20th.

The cucks are the ones who think Russia didn't do it.
If the Russians did it why would WIKILEAKS put up the $20,000 reward for the dead dnc staffer?

I think it was insider leaks but if it was a hack I would think the Zionist Jews would have more of a reason to hack them

I'm not sure why what I said is so confusing to you guys. It's like you only read the first half of the sentence. I'm not denying nor talking about the U.S. government's support of dictators.
U just admitted US ppl supported dictators in the past yet u are shocked they are doing it once again.

    Makes no sense.

If anything should be shocking is the current president trying to hijack the next presidency by moving to defcon 5

I tried once but I'm done explaining plain English to you. You are arguing a completely different topic (one that I'm pretty sure you started your own thread about and I commented in).

The US government supported it because the winning half of the population supported it.

Vietnam was certainly divisive. We were supporting a dictator there and half the country was pissed off.

Opposing war is different from praising the enemy. When did half of the US population support the Taliban over their own President? Saddam Hussein? The USSR? The Viet Cong?

It's perfectly reasonable to oppose actions against Putin/Russia without overtly praising him. It's amazing that the party of "Support your President" in 2003 has been reduced to this.

A striking number of Republicans have a favorable view of Vladimir Putin. It is unprecedented in American history for so many Americans to have a favorable view of a world leader of his kind, regardless of different opinions on what should be done about that leader.

Who is looking for war? Obama put out 35 russians. How is that looking for war? Oh and btw. even house republicans are agreeing on Obama's actions. The only ones who seem to want to sweep it under the rug is Trump and his supporters.

Augusto Pinochet. A ruthless dictator that imprisoned and tortured 80,000 and murdered 3,200.

The US openly supported and armed this animal.

There is nothing unprecendented about americans supporting dictators. Its been done dozens of times

Favorable may be a little overstated but the availability of the Internet to allow unfiltered information instead of the spoon fed information of the past has allowed people to recognize that the world is more gray than black and white. People are rightfully more su ious of "Russia as the antichrist" news than in the past. , the Washington Post just reported as fact that the Russians just hacked our power grid...a claim that turned out to be total bull . It makes one wonder if their report that "unidentified sources in the intelligence community said Russia hacked the DNC." Didn't smell a little like bull too.

And we should be skeptical of those claims. Just like we were skeptical of WMD's in Iraq.

But I don't remember American WMD skeptics celebrating any time Hussein made a sick burn against the US President. I don't remember admiration of Saddam Hussein coming from even the most vocal WMD skeptics or Iraq War opponents. That was the observation I was making.

I've already said I'm skeptical of claims of hacking until we see clear evidence.

    Keep up.

WaPo continues to muddy the water:

There was no “penetration of the U.S. electricity grid.” The truth was undramatic and banal. Burlington Electric, after receiving a Homeland Security notice sent to all U.S. utility companies about the malware code found in the DNC system, searched all its computers and found the code in a single laptop that was not connected to the electric grid.

Apparently, the Post did not even bother to contact the company before running its wildly sensationalistic claims, so Burlington Electric had to issue its own statement to the Burlington Free Press, which debunked the Post’s central claim (emphasis in original): “We detected the malware in a single Burlington Electric Department laptop not connected to our organization’s grid systems.”

So the key scary claim of the Post story — that Russian hackers had penetrated the U.S. electric grid — was false. All the alarmist tough-guy statements issued by political officials who believed the Post’s claim were based on fiction.

It's amazing that the party of "Support your President" in 2003 has been reduced to this.
I recall 2004 well. online skeptics were piled on for being insuffficiently pro-US, for merely questioning current US foreign policy.

disagreement with Trump will be conflated with being de facto disloyal, not rooting hard enough. There will be a high handed call for national unity, that will bitterly resent the critics and naysayers online.

A striking number of Republicans have a favorable view of Vladimir Putin. It is unprecedented in American history for so many Americans to have a favorable view of a world leader of his kind, regardless of different opinions on what should be done about that leader.
on a 1-100 scale, how sure are you about that?

was the popularity of Hitler and Stalin measured in 1933?
