    Q the cliff diving...

Had a shot to win it, and it didn't drop. Happens sometimes.
Truth. I'd give Bertans and Manu those open shots everytime.

Home court matters. Apparently Pop doesn't think so.

Had a double digit lead... Lost to a Bucks team AT HOME without Giannis. This team is fool's gold.
Yea, good teams never lose to a lesser team and play down to the compe on. Def a rare thing. Warriors lost to the Lakers. And blew a 24 point lead to the Grizzlies at home. Is anyone not fools gold?

Maybe it's just a fools gold year.

That shot of Davis' is the perfect example of a shot I can live with. Shot it with complete confidence. It missed, but it was a good shot.

However, that shot by Manu. Cannot live with that at all. He was shooting like all game and ing hits the backboard. Pop is a coach.
    Tonight he was.

Warriors then came back and beat the Lakers by 50. Spurs were lucky to barely beat the Bucks in Milwaukee.

Kawhi should have taken the shot. He could have released that ball within 2-3 feet of the rim, with only a dwarf in the way. That's a high percentage shot, which is what you want there. Then he made an off-target pass to Manu, that made him take a step closer to the baseline to catch and re-set. Manu put up a shot, but Kawhi screwed the pooch on that play. I sat and watched it three times to see if I missed anything. Kawhi screwed the pooch.

Pop letting that scrub Beasley go off on the Spurs at home
Seriously. Pop was out there not moving his feet or contesting Beasley's shots, and didn't show any nasty. Idk how many times I saw pop gambling on defense instead of playing him straight up.

He won't be all defense this year with that performance

Well it's also not a given Rockets have another gear for the postseason
The gear they're at right now is enough to beat the Spurs, especially if they have HCA. Just can't trust Pop to not get outcoached anymore, even if the opposing coach is Pringles. When Doc ing Rivers continuously takes your cookie you have a problem.

Yeah, not only because he'd have a decent chance of hitting it, but it'd be good for his confidence after missing the potential game winner
    Exactly!

Bertans should've been put in much sooner to close the game. The offense just wasn't good. Some who can space the court and add a little dribble penetration could've been of some use.

    Frustrating game tbh.

I don't fault him there overall but I would have liked him to shoot. At the end of the day Kawhi going to the rim was the right play and an obvious call down two. He had many good options because of his drive and made a good enough pass. He's not a natural playmaker though.

A win is a win. Its clockwork here. When we're battling the Warriors in the WCF, don't be surprised. It's gonna happen barring any injury.

Spurs get so so so close to catch GSW, and they blunder a very winnable game with a double digit lead. It always seems to happen.

It wasn't a bad loss. LMA was out and Pop is obviously ing with the team to see how they handle adversity. Fun game imo. Michael Beasley though.

If they can't beat Clippers without Griffin or Paul and can barely squeeze out a win against the Rockets, how the do you think Spurs are gonna be in the WCF? Disillusional Spur fan
