FYI- This kid can fly. I'd put money on it, he was probably the fastest kid in the State last year. 5A State Champ 100M 10.41. Also, wouldn't surprise me if he sniffs the offensive side of the ball.

Not looking like it right now, unless ATH Chris Miller shows up and receives an offer.

JUCO kid I really like is visiting this weekend. Lightly recruited but had a huge season and was somewhat of a surprise JUCO All-American and has seen his recruiting really explode:

I think we've found Stan Draytons first target for 2018. Draytons Twitter is currently following 11 people, all but two are Texas coaches or people from the athletic department. The other two are Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott and RB Lorenzo Lingard of University High School in Orange County, Florida.

He's a 5-star and ranked as the 2nd RB overall. I'm pretty sure Charlie Strong was in touch back in the fall as well.

RE: Lingard

I'm excited to see what Texas does at QB and RB for 2018.

As of right now, there doesn't seem to be any no-brainers at either position in-state and that's a rarity.

This could be where Herman wants to unleash Coach Drayton and attempt to land some big fish.
