This is strange. What am I not understanding. A player gets more study time if he is not performing well on the field. As punishment? Study time is punishment? It does not fit the rest of the narrative. I must be missing something.

I was told coach Herman said that a few weeks into winter workouts, they will divide people into three groups based on their performance. Source said players in the lowest group will receive an additional 18 hours of study hall on top of their current work load.
Source said the lowest group is called, “Crimson”. Can already tell the RRR is about to get really interesting.
Source also said that coach Herman emphasized grades and how they are a reflection of the overall work ethic of a player. “Grades matter. If your grades are higher then you are more likely to get it on the football field. It also shows us that you work hard”.
More on the grades. I’m told coach Herman said that one of the reasons the current team only won five games last season is because the average team gpa was simply not high enough.

Its simple,play well and you don't have to study, don't and you better hit the books.

Another WR prospect who could come into play is Bryan Thompson of Moreno Valley, CA.

Inside Texas saying Coach Naivar will be by Manvel later this week to see 2018 WR Jalen Preston.

However, his teammate, 2018 CB Trent Gordon, is seeing his stock rise and UT might be close to offering.

This is way more likely to pass. Proposed 3rd Wednesday in December I believe. As a matter of fact, from what I'm reading I would be very surprised if this didn't happen.
