A normal president doesn’t do this. He doesn’t assert authorship of speeches and fake a picture of himself writing them.
At what ought to be the apex of his popularity and grace, Trump is still groping for praise, even for a speech that was supposed to be about other people.

The world celebrated Obummer's election because they knew it meant they could keep taking advantage of us. The rest of the world is protesting Trump's election because it means we will no longer be taken advantage of. It's as simple as that.

Totally agree. Can't stand when my Canadian relatives crow over their lack of spending on their military (because, of course, the US will protect them if anyone dares attack them) while they can spend all their money on their healthcare. IMO, the first thing that needs to go is the US money to the UN.
