I dont watch obese ball, but I just looked at Bradys overall achievement and the patriots un during his time.

Why doesn't his individual accolades match his team success? Could this be another cases of American viewers not respecting consistency? As is with the case of basketball?

It would seem like a couple of sognificantly less accomplished players have earned more indovidual recognition

I dont watch obese buttcracks on tights ball either. But Patriots seem to resemble Spurs in terms of success and organization. I don't think any other teams are on those 2 level tbqh

question, did the Patriots retool themselves as the spurs did or not?

Brady is pretty widely recognized by NFL fans and media as the GOAT, tbh..

He's currently overshadowed by guys like Rodgers, because he isn't as good as him right now(and probably Matt Ryan), but Brady's career accomplishments are applauded by everybody..

He's had the GOAT coach, too, though, OP..

What level of accolades do you think he deserves? MVP is almost always a quarterback award, and Brady's prime has taken place in the same era as Regular Season Peyton and Rodgers, which limits the number of MVPs he's going to win. There are guys like Brees, Rivers and Ben who have never won it despite being elite QBs.

Got it. Just pretty rare how the GOAT of sport has the least amount of Season MVPs. I only follow soccer and basketball of course..both GOATs in their respective sports have significantly more individual accolades..

But i guess it doesnt matter when you get a certain point in your career.

No ing way that Brady is the GOAT

Media wishes he was due to their love of all things Patriots-related, but most fans outside of Foxboro will still tell you that Montana is the GOAT. Maybe some people will say Elway, or the really old heads will cite Unitas.

You forgot to mention that he has a losing record to Peyton "Chokin'" Manning in the postseason.

0-2 vs Eli b/c he turned into Alex Smith against the Giants

    Butt ed by Flacco

Got carried by a D-III Futbol reject when he won his first SB

Drew Brees is actually the best QB of the past decade & carried a mediocre D to a chip while beating Peyton/Favre/Warner along the way without throwing a single interception. He also has the most passing yards, TDs & completion since 2006.

As far as being the GOAT: Joe Montana is the best postseason QB who didn't pad his stats in the regular season ala Tim.

Montana was clutch as even in college when he didn't have a single All-American on offense at ND in '79:

Steve Young is also better than Grady, pretty sure he wouldn't have been bothered by the Giants pressure & would have had a field day w/ Moss.

yes, they were a 3-4 team based on defense and possession football early in Brady's career, now they're a 4-3 team based on running up the score and they've been this since about 2007

Some of the greatest athletes in the world play NFL football. A ton of Olympians have played NFL football. For every 300 pounder we have two 4.3 sprinters who are great athletes.

Tom Brady will be considered THE GOAT once he hangs um up. His stats, accomplishments will be second to none.

Right now his only real rivals are Joe Montana and Peyton Manning. He is on his way to surpassing both of them.

This could be 100 guys (can name them all)

    Obese ball?

The NFL is full of guys who played basketball, or sprinted, hurdled, high jump, long jump, baseball.

    Obese ball????

Do you ever look at the actual stats?

I;m a Niner fan and yes Montana was great, but he isn't better than Brady and neither was Steve Young.

Ever compare Montana vs Brady NCAA stats? Montana had as many INT's as he did TD. And an inferior comp % and QB rating.

Seen them all. The GOAT will be Tom Brady. He'll have the stats and accomplishments, what else is there?

    Elway???????????

It’s getting really hard to argue against Brady being the greatest quarterback of all time. He’s got the wins like Montana and stats like Manning. And we’ve never really seen a quarterback be this good for so long. Brady’s actually getting better as he inches closer to his 40th birthday. If he gets one more ring and continues to put up numbers, this won’t even be an argument.

He isn't just your average player that has been lucky to play the QB position for that system all those years, he has put up historic seasons #s wise and his efficiency improved even further this season despite losing his #1 guy to throw it to in Gronk and he is still elite/arguably the best at age 39.

It's gotten to a point where you simply can't dispute how great he is. Can't compare him to a Duncan because Duncan wasn't arguably the best player in the league in 2013/14 when the Spurs had their resurgence.

Look at it this way - won the Division almost every year of his career, 14 times as a starter won the Division in 16(?) years, made the Super Bowl now a record 7 times (2nd is someone you've never even heard of with 6), no NFL player has had this kind of post-season success. If he wins this year he is tied for most SB rings by a single player.

Haters are known to call him a "system quarterback", but the Patriots missed the Playoffs the year he went down with injury, went undefeated the previous year.
