This team has been fool's gold ever since the Spurs went away from Parker as the focus of the offense. We've been an ISO team for 3 years now and we're a second round exit at best now.
Lol I am rethinking it...
Heck Rose looked like a player too. Lol
What do you know another low 30's FG % on around 15 shots outing for Aldridge. So tired of seeing that in the box scorelike Groundhog Day
Hahahahaha yah right
One game people!!! Yesterday Melo was crap, today he can walk on water, calm down!!!
get back to me when he can not lose to the worst team in the league
People are so fickle on here lol
Never fails
Pretty pathetic if he plays like crap and loses by double digits to the Lakers, but can walk on water against the Spurs.
Man I loved Beavis and Butthead. You managed to put a smile on my face at the end of a 2 hour fest. I'm going to take that and go do something other than think about basketball.![]()
And Parker only shot 24 less shots than Kawhi.
Yeah, the elephant in the gym is Pop. Time for him to go. I am thinking about joining the jihad. Trouble is, I DON't know who I want to replace him - or who would. I am not convinced his successor is currently on staff.
I'm going to re-read "Rats in the Walls" and go to bed.
le contenders have no business losing to a team in turmoil. NONE. They should beat this team by 10 points on accident. That's why we won't calm down.
Nothing like a Sunday afternoon meltdown, oh well
We gotta trade now Patty and Danny Green for whatever SG we can get and hope that the corpse of Parker and Murray can hold on the PG spot.
This Green is ing unplayable, canīt score, canīt defend .
The game turned when the Spurs went away from Kawhi in the 2nd quarter. Kawhi entered the game tied at 26 and the following is all of the Spurs scoring possessions:
Kawhi Leonard makes 5-foot two point shot
Dewayne Dedmon makes dunk (Kawhi Leonard assists)
Kawhi Leonard makes 5-foot Driving Floating Jump Shot
Davis Bertans makes 23-foot three point jumper (Kawhi Leonard assists)
Danny Green makes 23-foot three point jumper (Kawhi Leonard assists)
Kawhi Leonard makes dunk (Tony Parker assists)
Kawhi Leonard makes free throw 1 of 2
Kawhi Leonard makes free throw 2 of 2
Kawhi Leonard makes 8-foot two point shot
Kawhi Leonard makes 17-foot jumper
David Lee makes layup (Tony Parker assists)
Spurs were up by 12. Then they stopped running the offense through Kawhi and ended the half only up by 6.
But hes getting better and we're the second best team in the league. Look at the offensive rebounds!!!
Its all about everything coming together and I like where hes going. He looks like he fits the team better. This was just NYs day.
In 2014 we lost to the Knicks at home. Even had a 3 game losing streak at the end of January.
Obviously that team was built differently, but sheesh. At this time in 2014 we were 38-15. Just perspective.. I know this team has some obvious things they need to do better, but man. We could go on a long win streak after the all star break, who knows. Pau will help in some areas, and hopefully the break provides these guys with some time to rest and recoup. Not uncommon for teams to fall into a funk at this time.
Who gives a . We always lose afternoon games
Unfortunately with LMA playing so poorly on offense and no Pau this team has a very bad offense. LMA is supposed to pack a big offensive punch and he's not delivering. That makes it harder on everyone.
Outside of Kawhi/LMA on offense SA has:
TP: Still the best PG and can score from time to time but limited there overall.
Manu: Just doesn't have any offensive potency most of the time.
Mills: Just a shooter (albeit a good one) but struggles to create for himself or others.
Dedmon: Not an offensive player
Green: Limited overall offensive game/creation
Lee: Decent offensive game but not someone you can rely on as a legit threat every night
It just goes on and on like that. This team lacks offensive firepower with Pau out and LMA not delivering.
Lamarcus has been bad a few games already....
I mean do ppl remember Lamarcus against Memphis?
