Spurs standing pat, but I don't think any of the buyouts addressed any Spur needs.
who's available? barnes and terrence jones is all that comes to my mind.
the knicks need to part ways with rose already (not that i want him).

I do think a 3-4 would help but Barnes doesn't seem very Spurs like. I'm guessing Spurs are waiting to see if anyone else gets bought out.
Barnes aint coming here.
Damn, woulda liked Jennings at the back up PG but dnt thnk the spurs evn considered him!
The don't consider guys Pop can't rule under his grape stained thumb.
Andrew Bogut isn't going to do for Cleveland. He would have been nice insurance for the Spurs but this team is set with its roster for the most part. It would be great if the Spurs could pick up another veteran PG who can penetrate.
IDK why we aren't going for Barnes.
He is clearly the best for us of those available.
See... These things are just too easy to predict.
He ed Eva.
If the Durant injury is as serious as rumors are starting to say (torn MCL) then the Spurs better be going full-throttle to acquire a decent penetrator.
Barnes going to Warriors means Durant is done. There isn't much on the market but Calderon would be helpful over Forbes. We probably need a reliable PG because we know pop wont trust Murray for spot minutes due to injuries or foul issues from Parker/Mills.
What's the deal with Terrence Jones still not being signed? Does he have some injury/mental issues that I'm not aware of?
Pop is too lazy to coach new guys. Even if signed, they'll only play sparingly.
"the system is hard to learn."![]()
TJ has no effect on this team. He won't move ahead of Lee. And I think most would agree Bertans or Anderson would be a better emergency 4 if push comes to shove.
No guarantee Barnes wanted to come to SA, and with Durant out, he's got a path to more playing time in GS.
I could see signing Calderon as insurance.
The premium is too high, the deductible hasn't been met, the co-pay makes it not worthwhile, and it doesn't even cover what's wrong.
excellent conceit!
However, I believe it would cover one thing that is wrong - at least partially.
Damn would have been really nice to keep Barnes from GS, but obviously SA (and Barnes) had no interest in each other since he's been a FA long enough (before the KD injury).
He signed with the Kings
