The question was if he discussed the Trump administration with Russia. And he hasn't. He was responding to the confusing question by Al Franken. Sessions is an honest man.

No, he was asked whether or not parties associated with campaign, which he was, spoke with the Russians. He was not asked if they spoke about the campaign. There was also the questionnaire he was given where the campaign was not mentioned at all when asked about foreign contact where he again denied it.
