    Stone RuiNation Triple IPA

Decent smell, but nothing that really stands out. The near 11% ABV hides well behind the flavor. Not sure this beer warrants the 10 dollar/22 oz. price tag compared to some others, but it was ok.

    10.8% FTW

    Next on my list:

Knee Deep's Hop-De-Ranged Quad IPA - 12.2% ABV - 14 bucks for a bomber, this better be good

I enjoy Community's Mosaic IPA when travelling to the Dallas area. 8.6% abv at about $9.50 a sixer.

A few years ago, I was at Mellow Mushroom and we asked for a recommendation. Waiter suggested Stone RuinTen Triple IPA. It was about 105 outside so that may have colored my judgement. But it was probably the best beer I'd ever had. We ended up calling around to find out what stores still had some and ended up buying 12 of them. My buddy took them home and I forgot all about them. He gave them back to me about 6 months later. Needless to say, they were not the same as the first one.

Yeah, draft smells and tastes so much better.. I haven't had that Knee Deep yet, but god damn it better be good considering the price

Picked up a bomber of Stone Old Guardian 2016. Barleywine's are hard to find around here so I was definitely wanting to check it out. Lot's of different flavors going on...and the 11% ABV is well hidden. If you are a fan of the style, I highly recommend it.

Amazing how they can hide the alcohol these days. Seems like 5 years ago the double IPA's were almost undrinkable.

Man, I am not into barleywine's. Have tried a few and can't get into it. Same with sours although I have at least had some sour stouts I somewhat enjoyed.

Not related, but I finally got a tall boy of Oskar Blues Barrell-Aged Ten Fidy and it's amazing (just like regular Ten Fidy)

Just now saw this thread and got really excited. Anybody drink the Boulevard Smoke Stack series? Most of their normal beers are too bland for me but the Sixth Glass Trippel and the Love Child no. 7 are fantastic

why is it ppl who go to a bottle shop always buy the safest brand drink for a party, knowing ppl wont complain about it...

hence why do you buy a 6pack only? why not buy a slab aka box of 24? we Asians always attend with a box its like ur cover charge for attending the party, u white kents rock up with a 6pack and ur already judged cause we know u going to drink all that 6 cans and maybe more; fkn freeloaders (only reason I buy 24 cause I know if they cant drink it all that night, with left overs the hosts will have to host another party or else they have a few boxes of beer in the garage collecting dusts)

and lol clowns who buy the cheapest beer, then goes to party drink some other clowns tastier branded beer...

Took me a while to get into sours and now I absolutely love them. Only thing I dislike about them now is the price and low alcohol %.

My favorite sours are from The Bruery

This has been my go to beer for a while now. If you are fan of Ballast Point Grunion or Alesmith .394 give this a try.

And if you can find it on tap in the wet hop edition you I am jealous.

I've always liked them, but I have a few friends that took a long time to start enjoying them - one about 8 years. There's so much variety now in soursnow, you just gotta find the right one. I'm in Fort Collins at the moment sipping on a Dad and Dude'sBreweria Sativa CBD infused IPA

I always figured I'd be wasting my time since they specialize in sours and I'm a pale ale/IPA guy.

It's a bad a** place to visit IMO. Just a unique brewery and they have a lot of stuff (much of it is sours/florals), but it's definitely a cool place and you can find stuff you like.

Real Ale Brewing Co has a variety pack of 3 different kinds of beers, 2 of each kind.

    Brewhouse Brown Ale
    Devils Backbone (Belgian Tripel)
    Firemans 4 (blond ale)

Its a great value tbh. The tripel and Brown ale are quite good. The blond is good as well if you are into blonde ales.
