Of course he doesn't. He cares about looking like a pussy tho since his whole schtick is macho nonsense. Putin basically just keeps pushing boundaries around the world with the bluff of a nuclear war which he would never do and its gonna force Trump to stand up to him or look like a pussy with all this Russia coverage imo

Comey said Russia hacked both the RNC and DNC but only released the DNC info because Putin hates Hillary more than your average Breitbart commenter does. Would be so delicious to see WikiLeaks release anti-Republican stuff if Trump starts standing up to Russia. The reactions from the right about it would be so delightful

    http://www.foxnews.com/world/2017/04...airfields.html

Satellite images released Friday of the Syrian air base that was pounded with 59 U.S. Tomahawk missiles show large-scale destruction to airfields, planes and fueling facilities allegedly used by the Assad regime to mount chemical weapons attacks.

Shayrat air base was "almost completely destroyed" by the barrage of 1,000-pound warheads launched from the Eastern Mediterranean Sea early Friday, according to a human rights group in the country.

How do you fire 60 cruise missiles at an airbase and not take out the runways?

Did not read the entire thread but this seems like Trumps wag the dog moment. Seems like his ass is in hot water so why not launch a bunch of cruise missiles to pull the heat off of you? A play straight out of slick Willie's book, one of his old friends. I have a difficult time believing that Russia isn't complicit with this seeing how they did not use any countermeasures.

Why did he warn Putin first to get his men out of the area? Why is Sarin gas still nearby?
You're an idiot. We are not at war with Russia. It's common courtesy to give that type of heads up.

That's it boys. Hold on tightly to those Russian conspiracy theories with both hands. Can't give up now after wasting so much time believing in them.

“We were able to find a solution that didn’t necessitate the use of force that actually removed the chemical weapons that were known from Syria, in a way that the use of force would never have accomplished. We were able to get the Syrian government to voluntarily and verifiably give up its chemical weapons stockpile.”---Susan Rice

“We struck a deal where we got 100 percent of the chemical weapons out,”---John Kerry

Just an escalation of what Russian planes were already doing with the buzzes and barrel rolls on US aircraft. Putin begging for an "accident" it seems. Trump gets it now but might go McCain on us. Who knows, maybe the unpredictably leads to caution on their side. One can hope.
too early to over or under react to this. tillerson's remarks last night seemed to suggest an aping of kerry (and obama's) position of trying to create a balance of power which would ultimately lead to a last man standing (and the U.S. would then prefer that this new leader would become a puppet). so, was this for show? is this a shift in thinking? are there concerns that china, iran and russia are gaining an advantage in syria? at any rate, imho, obama's policy was wrong and clinton's policy would have been mccain's wet dream come true.

and in regards to the illegality of the strike (which is certainly so), it appears that nobody in washington cares about such legalities any more: we have purposely created an omnipotent presidency. in fact, in 2011, Obama went to war in Libya not just without congressional approval, but even after congress rejected such authorization.

Seriously ed up world. No one except Assad and Putin (maybe Trump) have a ing clue whats going on.

Where did the Sarin gas come from? What the did Assad hope to accomplish except announce that he still had some, didnt honor his agreement and killed a lot of civilians?

Will Assad use again? If so, what will Trump do?

They could release part and threaten to release the rest to get trump to back off maybe. Depends on what's in them to how they could affect things

Can we get some quotes from Repugs, even Connel himself denouncing Barrys similar actions?

my guess would be that the likelihood is Trump’s cruise missile attack was a one-off action rather than the beginning of a full-scale campaign; it may slightly demoralize the Syrian regime but it won’t significantly alter the forces on the field.

So will Trump s still hold up his Promises Kept sign at his rallies after he lied about not getting involved in Syria? They did after he broke his campaign promise about providing healthcare for everyone that was better and cheaper for them than the ACA.

yeah, in essence, he's pretty much following the path of Obama's Syrian policy (which he mocked on the campaign trail) with the exception of the attack on the air field being a more aggressive act (at least on the surface). and trump may add more special forces to the mix.

I hope not. I loved Obama getting shot down by congress on attacking Assad. I can't picture congress doing it to Trump.
