Despite the loss, this is gonna be a game to remember for some time, especially Kawhi's performance.

Shame his team had to let him down.

The best nailbiter playoff games seem to always end with the Spurs losing.
I knew midway through the 4th that the Spurs would lose. I'd go downstairs, they'd go on a run, I'd come back up to watch more and they'd give up 8 or 10 in a row. Just no defense tonight outside of Leonard. Kawhi was on a ing island, and surrounded by floating turds. Letting the Griz punk you like that is pathetic, but they have to win in SA to win the series so we'll see. Either way, the Spurs don't look too good going forward outside of Leonard who didn't come alive until late into the game.

Leonard scored 43 points and Grizz had like 20+ turnovers. Spus still lose?

Pop really has next to zero play calling. I mean, why keep Parker in the game for defensive purposes?

Manu needs to get his head out of his ass ASAP, and stop this "i enjoy that the team doesn't need me to score anymore", because, with his sucking, it is quite obvious that the team cannot win without him playing well.
That is what I have been telling you tbh.
Either he gets it together or he needs to sit.
I think he's at the point he needs to sit. 4 games with 0 % and not even a FT like sasaint predicted? he's done sadly.

I believe others are bound to catch a rhythm if they get the coach's trust that they haven't had so far bc they get the short hook.

After tonight I'm totally cool if Patty Mills is gone this offseason it was his lazy layup that got blocked by Harrison that cost Kawhi this game.
You crazy. Patty > TP...then again, do it Pop!

That's when I stopped watching and knew this was going 6 at least. When you have the timekeeper ing you, you're not going to win a close one.

Lol at people saying Grizzlies are playing above their heads. They aren't injured like they were last season and Spurs are nowhere near the level of the 2013 team that they are overwhelming for Memphis. More like the Spurs are getting exposed for being the mediocre team they are.

Teams look evenly matched TBH. That said, Grizz aren't your typical 7th seed. Their big three have been together longer than any current 3 and two are in their primes.

What a game... I didn't like Pop's call on playing Lee.
He really has not been able to guard Zbo anyways, and can't take it right back at him. team made a run with Davis and Pop completely went away from him to finish the game. Just didn't like that call on Pop... other than that just sad bc Kawhi was spectacular.

Lamarcus offensively disappeared save a few plays. If Tony doesn't show up in this game they wouldn't have even been close either... the times they tried to go through Lamarcus the offense wasn't good.

I think Pop can make some adjustments and probably needs to tighten his rotation to go away from Manu.
Zbo was pretty quiet tonight. What did he have 12 points? 14?

I think Bertans couldve played a bit more, but hes not stopping Zbo. He just adds the 3 point shot, which was needed tonight

A few Manu and Green shots go in and this is a 3-1 series. Smh
    TOSB Porker doesn't play like it's 2007 and it's a blowout

Probably would've been better with a 24 second violation. I think that's reviewable.

yea... I am not sure what he meant exactly...
but for Spursfan in general.. this was a good Tony game.
We don't take those for granted tbh
Not at all. I hope he can replicate this performance in game 5. If we get game 3 Tony, I am scared.

i had the spurs in 6 before the series started.

what i didn't expect is a game 4 to be so close when they have 22 turnovers and we have 9.

When Patty Mills, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, Danny Green, and Pau Gasol go 1-17 from three and the Spurs lose on the last shot it says Kawhi deserves better teammates and the Spurs are slumping from 3 at the worst time possible.

Which was a major mistake. Spurs should have pitched to Draymond Green instead.
Draymond would have been useless on the Spurs. His defense consists of grabbing and hand checking no way would the refs not call fouls on him in SA. Observe how LMA got called for two bs fouls against ZBO today simply for banging in the post with him. That would be the call Draymond would be getting in SA on the defensive end. Plus his shooting is garbage. On top of that Draymond is a ball dominant player who needs the ball in his hands to be effective and Pop is not going to allow that.
