The thing is this.
You got a president who is horribly unpopular and very popular at the same time. If there is really something here that is impeachable and then worthy of the axe, make damn sure you are correct. The worst possible consequence of such a bitter election is making one side feel like they had their choice snatched away for no good reason. This is why Boots demanding recounts so self-assured that Trump did NOT win, and all these protests aimed at impeaching him without an investigation, are very dangerous with anyone, yes anyone, elected democratically.
And its exactly why Russia even attempting to fiddle with our elections, just because they wanted to show they can, should be acted upon. [And most likely will be, but I doubt we find out. (It'll be a sucker punch only Putin and cronies know about IMO.)] This also shows why we need to keep out of other country's process as well, no matter how small.
Let the investigation continue with rigor. The Republicans better understand this. Let the press keep asking the WH wtf is going on.
The funniest part is Trump going out of his way to mention in his termination letter to Comey that he (Comey) had told him 3 times that Trump was not under investigation. In Trumpspeak this translates to: "Thanks for telling me 3X that I am not under investigation. Now I can fire you and no one can say I did it because I'm under investigation. Because I wrote that you said that I'm not. You're fired!"
How much stupider can this man and this administration get? This guy couldn't possibly be a traitor because he's too much of an idiot. Of course, Putin will happily settle for an idiot in charge of the US.
The thing is Trump is incredibly unpredictable and impulsive.

Where are the democrats who voted for him or the independents? He lost them for good. There's a reason why he cant get out of his base of 40%.
