Fans should be getting on Harden not the refs. Near the end he was making stupid shot after stupid shot. Probably because of fatigue but if he was playing for Pops, Pops would have decapitated him.

TBH they are throwing fire and D'Antoni for his 7 man rotation and Harden for his choke job. They are both deserve critisim. To be up and in control, playing at your pace and not win with Leonard on the bench is on them. But I was reading the game thread while watching, and they were just crying refs all game, up until towards the end when Harden was turning the ball over in OT. So I focused my meltdown comments on the refs.
TBH, we didn't deserve that win. The role players carried us, Harden choked, Rockets were gassed. I just don't get how LMA and Gasol cannot score on Harden.
Do they wish injuries on their 4x champion FMVPs?
I have considered how come D'antoni couldn't spare Dekker or Harrell for 10 minutes. Pop played 10 guys still with 11 minutes to Lee and 7 to Anderson. Props to Pop. he did that early in the game so you see if those guys have game and can help you and if they don't you don't play them as much, or not in the second half (KA)... Spurs didn't lose the game while they played and more or less maintained the status quo. I am sure Dantoni could have spared a few minutes of Dekker or Harrell if he needed to and it wouldn't be terribly worse.
As you said they also ran no plays in the end, just isos with Simmons who is a good defender one on one, specially if you don't run him off a screen. Overall it was terrible coach job by Dantoni.
I have been disappointed on lamarcus for a while. He's a good roleplayer, but one wants him to be a star. He can't take over at all when he needs to and seems incapable of game winning plays. Pau was probably a bust of a signing if it wasn't for Pop trying to find ways to play him and get something out of him. Maybe I am being too harsh on both, maybe. Game 6 they likely need to step up.
Gasol is one of the most craftness, offensive sound big man in history and he cannot post up a 6ft5 guard.
