Love how curry and durant give a weak ass take of Zaza not being dirty and pop just brings the prosecution like a boss
Durant is the most mentally soft superstar ever.

One good thing is if there is a hard foul by Zaza he is more likely to get a flagrant or tossed.

My thing with the whole "How could he know exactly where Kawhi was going to land?" argument is, it's incredibly naive. Ok, you don't know the exact coordinates of where his feet will land, but you obviously know the general area. It's a risk free gamble.

If you put your foot out there and miss, you lose nothing. If you miss that time, you just try again the next time he's taking a shot. Eventually you'll hit.
Yeah, I dont get it. These are ing professional players. They know to perfection their vicinity. I mean, anyone who has played basketball will know without looking at the other guy's feet, where (to an extent) they'll land after a jumper.

Zaza comes from his right side, and gives 2 additional steps and falls under his left foot? The same foot that KL injured seconds before? GTFO.

One downside is that if Kawhi comes back from game 3 and the Spurs are down 0-2 Pop will probably roll out the normal big lineups because it helped build a 25 point lead in game 1. I really think that Kawhi should start at 4 if he's healthy enough to go in game 3.

Pop finally taking a page out of Phil Jackson's playbook, he's basically trying to get zaza benched by the refs for the rest of the series

Mike Brown is a great guy -- no one has a bad word to say about him.

His only sin is that he's the coach of the Spurs' playoff opponent.
Nah him. He tried to compare two completely different plays to justify it. He should no longer be considered Spurs family.

YES! This right here. It's astonishing to me how most of the ESPN talking heads (don't ask me why I watched) are using the "How could he know exactly where Kawhi would land therefore it's not a dirty play" argument. It's totally, completely irrelevant if he was trying to calculate exactly where Kawhi would land. He made TWO moves to position his foot in Kawhis' general landing spot. It was reckless as . And we all saw the result. Pop comes up with a great analogy. If you kill someone while texting, you go to prison regardless of intent.

I'm proud of Pop. He couldn't hold it any longer. If Kawhi landed on someone like Steph or Klay, Pop still would've been pissed but I doubt he goes off on the media because they're good guys. But because it was Zaza, who has a long history of dirty plays and the flagrount/technical fouls to back it up, Pop went off. He remembered all the dirty moves he pulled on Kawhi, Patty, and David West last year. I love this.

Yeah I agree. Mike Brown looks goofy and is easy to make fun of, but he's done a solid job wherever he's coached. Those back to back 60 win Cavs teams way overachieved and a 1-4 start in LA is too small a sample to really hold against him. It's not like D'antoni did that much better with that group anyway

Sign Bruce Bowen and have him go for KD's weak knees and Steph's problematic ankles. Even it up.
We already have Dedmon to do that.

TBH. He basically described that YouTube vid that shows Zaza's shenanigans.

having seen Pop operate in the past this message is only for his own team, not for the press, or us, or anyone else out there. It's just for his own team.

Dedmon plays hard, but he's not a dirty player. None of the current Spurs are, and they were careful not to sign any.

Mike Brown is a complete disgrace - same with Kerr. Many former Spurs-associates have turned on the Spurs in the last 10 years

About time. Glad he brought up the arm incident from last year too.

But the damage is done. It won't matter if the league suspends ZaZa one game or the rest of the playoffs. GS can win without him but the Spurs are done without Leonard.
Zaza set some hard screens on the spurs that freed up Warriors shooters for the three. Refs are going to be giving zazza more closer attention now.

Glad to see pop vent publicly for once

If he doesn't get suspended, send out Dedmon and give him as many minutes as he can handle.
Sign Bruce Bowen and have him go for KD's weak knees and Steph's problematic ankles. Even it up.
So Kawhi is probably out for the series. Time to go out and purposely injure Curry.
    If Curry dies, he dies.
Curry and Durant need to be aggressively Zaza'd. No clean landings on jump shots. "Sweep the leg." It won't be intentional, but, hey, things happen. At least make them think about it when they shoot.

S-Jax says it was dirty, but says Pop is a hypocrite for complaining about it when he had Bowen all those years.

Look Bruce was no saint, but once they changed the rule he laid off. So the comparison is not quite app.

Of course, with a former Suns player and Amir "I was office boy for the Suns in the 00's, therefore I have to about the Spurs for eternity" we're not getting fair coverage.

Interesting that Sjax is rooting for the warriors. Guess he feels more appreciated for beating 07 Dallas while on the Dubs, then getting ejected from the 13 Spurs.

Jax has been dead to me as a spur since the '13 debacle. He's always been salty about what's happened since '13. I remember him recently saying Kobe was better then Duncan. Anyways the Bowen cop out is weak since he never injured anybody during the playoffs. It's just a bs way they are trying to justify this injury. This is like saying that bull fans have no right to ever complain about any of their players getting injured through a dirty play because they had a dirty player in Rodman. You can apply the same re ed logic to Piston fans since they had Laimbeer, Laker fans since they had Artest, Knick fans since they had Oakley. Just a very stupid argument by a bunch of spur haters. That's all it is.

That taliban mother er is a spurs hater. And warriors slurper. It doesn't absolve bringing up bruce bowen and its a deflection point. Its funny cause the 2 basketball players know it immediately, but pundits don't.
