I am thinking just him being out there will left spirts.
Yeah, but i don't want to read to much into it.. I mean even if he doesn't play he should dress out and sit on the bench to provide support.
I am thinking just him being out there will left spirts.
Not going to read too much into it. He sounds like that even when he's happy.
too me it appears he is scratching his head and thinking 'What did the coaching staff tell me to say again', Oh yeah that's right!
He will play, calm down gts
Yeah, I feel smokescreen, TBH.
CIA , IMHO.
Even if it had already been decided if he would play I don't think he or the Spurs would disclose it. I am getting more worried though, tbh.
he said it's still not ready, as in, if the game was today he wouldn't be playing. Hard to imagine it improving that much in 24-36 hours. I'm all for miracles, though.
poor guy is so injury prone.
I was thinking the same. Maybe they can give some kind of shot pre game and halftime if it's all about pain tolerance. Like even if plays fewer minutes it'd mean a ton to the team
To all the posters that will see this and lose their :
Don't bite, idiots.
He must have said day to day 10 times...He's onviously hoping it's in a better condition tomorrow.
Also, kawhi has to be one of the hardest people to interview. Sometimes he just comes off as a jackass. He's a bit tough with reporters and get easily annoyed.
He called out that one reporter "she just asked that question"
lol he Pop'd the out of him
That's not even his wost response. Kawhi has had multiple interveiws that's way worse than this one. It's hard to tell if he's just poor with interviews or if he trully get annoyed easily.
Sometimes it feels like he's a much more difficult individual to interview than Pop. He wasn't like this in his first couple pf years though. He's probably starting to get certaim mannerism from his coach..only difference is, pop does it cause its his schtick.
Looks like Durant isn't being fooled by CIA pop
Yeah..The mentality is that an ankle sprain with 6 total days of rest in the playoffs. No way he's missing out. Player kinda know these thing.
Wouldn't surprise me if the warriors think it's all smokescreen and that he's ready 100% even though that's clearly not the case.
I think he's sweating in the interview. Phoenix made the right decision.
Wasn't Pop suppose to have a media day session today too. Did his interview not make the cutting room floor?
Kawhi not at Spurs shoot around today...
