Pay Patty in the Off-season

Time to end the loyalty at the expense of progressives moves. Mills has to find another home. No long term contract for a player that has been inconsistent at best, is past his prime and will be a very bad contract going forward.

Exactly ..

Spurs need to bite the bullet and make tough decision going forward, and this would be first of them..Parker's injury helps as far the end game with him..We are almost sure there will be no big money in his next contract, no starting and "playing until 40"..

I wouldn't judge the character of players from this one game, but I will judge the character of LMA based off past three games. He sucks.

This. Aldridge was going up against Draymond and having multiple defenders thrown at him. Patty was going against Steph who's a fraction of the defender Draymond is. Both were weak defensively, but Aldridge was actually fine defensively throughout the season while Mills was always trash.

That said, I'd prefer to pay neither of them next season. But if Mills is cheap enough, I'll bite.

I'd take him if he wanted to comeback for a team-friendly deal. Not gonna happen, though. He gone. Can't pay him when we already have the dead weight from LMA(trade plz), TP (take the blow), Pau (maybe). PATFO is gonna need to sign a PG (and SG) regardless. Just not sure if they're going for a 2yr/10 mil guy or 4/60+ guy.

They stuck Klay on him, actually. Let's not act like Parker hasn't struggled against bigger defenders as well (Sefalosha). Let's also not ignore the fact that Parker has really struggled against GS in general the past few years. It was a tough match-up for Paddy as is, and it became even tougher without Kawhi to play off of.

Still not worth $15 mill/yr though. His defense is just too bad for him to be the starting PG of an elite team.

Hope RC and Pop make keeping Simmons more of a priority than matching a giant offer for Mills.
