My ultimate wish is for Spurs to buy or trade back into late 1st or early second and to get this guy AND Jordan Bell.

He's a solid prospect but I think he has a similar skill set to Bertans give or take a strength here and a weakness there. I like his lateral quickness though and length. He has Ibaka potential imo and appears to be in that mold.
http://www.freep.com/story/sports/co...ner/321142001/Wilson’s quad injury suffered in his Spurs workout last week prevented him from doing nearly anything in Chicago.
spurs hiding him? jk
Would be very pleased if we got him, but we might have to trade up.
Agreed. He was crucial to Michigan during their late season run. Excellent length, good mobility, can shoot, and decent d.
If they go big I'd rather have Bell. Heard his game described as Rodman-like.
I like Bell too, especially that motor. I give Wilson the edge for his shooting
Wilson supposedly has a1st round guarantee from Utah.
If so, I wonder if they mean at #24 or #30.
I'd love to see this kid become a Spur. Judging from the leap he made in the tourney I'd say he's gonna go way too high for the Spurs to grab him. A Murray-Simmons-Kawhi-Bertans-Wilson lineup could be fun.
SBNation: NBA Mock Draft 2017: What if the Lakers pick De'Aaron Fox over Lonzo Ball?

Death, taxes, and the Spurs getting a steal in the NBA draft. Wilson is a top sleeper candidate (along with Jeanne, if he counts). The fact that he’s from Sacramento is only part of that equation.
Interesting highlights in this article: https://hoopshabit.com/2017/06/10/ok...er-draft-pick/
Dude has a little nasty in him. Still my choice at 29.

29. San Antonio Spurs select D.J. Wilson: PF – Michigan
D.J. Wilson would be a perfect fit in San Antonio. Wilson has stretch four potential, and could become a lockdown defender once he adds weight to his frame. He’s extremely skilled and plays with a good motor.
LaMarcus Aldridge hasn’t worked out in San Antonio, and may be on his way out. Wilson would be a good long-term replacement for Aldridge once he acclimates himself to the NBA game.
One of my guys. He has huge potential on both ends of the floor. Higher potential than Jordan Bell and I LOVE Jordan Bell.
My wishlist:
Jordan Bell
DJ Wilson
Bam Adebayo
Jonah Bolden
Pasecniks
Cam Oliver
