Tbh I didn't care when certain athletes, celebrities, were anti-Obama. Trivial stuff like that does not effect me. I was not a fan of Obama either despite voting for him. The only reason I voted for him was because I felt he was the lesser of 2 evils but that's another story all together. I'm now in my 30's but since my late 20's I have viewed 99.9 percent of all celebrities, and athletes as trash. The only exception was Tim. Whether I agree or disagree with their political views it just doesn't affect me because I don't give a about what they have to say. I do laugh at the people who get offended and do take what they have to say seriously.

I think the reason that people get mad at these celebs mouthing off isn't so much cos of their actual endorsements one way or another. It's because the rest of us get reprimanded or even fired for pulling this stuff in our own jobs. Also, people turn to entertainment to get away from the muck.
