If LaMarcus walks next year, the Spurs could be close to space for two max players.
That's far better that trading him for junk just cuz

It's a win win for the Spurs. LMA has to try for that contract. This is his livelihood he is ing with. Not the Spurs.
I think they'll let him decide if he wants to play and keep any value on the free agency market, or sit on his ass and kill it. He won't be traded.
There's gonna be literally nobody anywhere near worth the max wanting to take those spots next year regardless.
No way the Spurs lure two max free agents to SA with the prospect that Pop walks out the door right after they sign. Playing with a top-5 NBA talent will count for something, but I don't see a super team forming in SA through free agency.
This. And this is likely the plan. LMA has a contract year, hopefully he'll manup and play regardless of his issues. But RC not sending him out for junk,
Oh god, so we are stuck with the cuck.
I doubt a ty ass burgh like San Antonio will attract many players.
Russell Westbrook is worth it.
Ahhh. So the locker thing is just the red xarpet/sales pitch. Got it.
When the Spurs move to Austin they'll be able to sign all kinds of players and the value of the franchise will increase substantially.
SA will get a g-league team.
Bell is garbage![]()
For the min. Very Spursian move, bringing in vets to fill out the roster. Good pickup for them as long as he's not asked to do too much.
You think this could happen? Haven't seen any rumors. I'm not local so when I travel to see them that could kill two birds with one stone.
No offense to San Antonio residents, but I would prefer the spurs were located in austin. Every time I visit Austin I have so much fun. Such a cool city with so much to do or get into.
My kind of city for sure.
If the Knicks are out of the running for George Hill, who's left that are realistic options for him? It's getting harder to see who has money for him that would have a need.
Trouble is Austin is in love with the Longhorns. And the Cowboys.
outta here.
Is Calderon still better than Mills? Haven't seen him in awhile tbh.
I suppose... if he doesn't opt in.
The guys who said this past postseason was the last try with that particular team were wrong...
Hopefully the young guys get better...
