Guy went from getting almost twice as much as Patty just got to possibly accepting a Patty-like deal. Sad.
Maybe he can sign a 1 year deal or a 1+1 and opt out and be a free agent again next off-season?

Hill has completely played himself here..He and his agent miscalculated his market--probably the biggest loser in this free agency..

turning down 4 ys/ $70-80 million extension from Utah thinking he was a "max PG" at 31-yo with barely any track record of it and a glass body to boot..ouch..

But I guess this is what happens, when someone hands a PG that has never made an All Star Team 150 million..

No . I'd be inclined to feel sorry for him if he wasn't ready a multimillion dollar athlete. Like someone said before, he'll find a deal somewhere, but he's more than likely kicking himself right now.

He underestimated the market. More PGs that spots available.

Missing 33 games last season plus 4 playoff games scared off a lot of teams.

Hill will always have a spot on the Spurs for the right price. PATFO loves collecting PGs.

    3 years, $57 million.

Not the 4 years, $80 million he turned down, but he got paid.

Huh? He turned down 4 years, 80M fully guaranteed for 3 years, 57M with the last year only partially guaranteed. He lost money.

Still a nice pay day though.

Instead of playing with Rudy Gobert in one of the most beautiful cities in America he goes to California's asshole to team up with Willie Cauly-Stein.
