congrats to both of them
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playof...ory?id=2429195MIAMI -- Heat center Shaquille O'Neal is a father for the sixth time.
He and his wife, Shaunie, welcomed a new daughter. Mearah Sanaa O'Neal was born just before 5 a.m. Monday morning, and team officials said the baby girl and her mother were resting comfortably.
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playof...ory?id=2429169After hitting shots Sunday afternoon that put the game into overtime and then beat the Phoenix Suns at the buzzer, Kobe Bryant went to the hospital, where his wife, Vanessa, gave birth early Monday morning to their second child -- a girl named Gianna, ESPN's Jim Gray reported.
Gianna was born at 2:03 a.m. Monday. She was 6 pounds, 7 ounces and 18.5 inches long.
Factoring in time zone differences ....
Congrats to both families! And wow, what a day for Kobe yesterday, a fantastic game and a new baby.
Mearah Sanaa O'Neal?
Gianna Bryant?
Where do they come up with these names?!
I didn't realize Shaq had a kid named Shaqir.
Congrats to both. Kobe had a great day yesterday![]()
Wait, Shaq named one of his kids after Shareef Abdul-Rahim? Or was that just a coincidence?
Gianna? Normal Italian name I believe.
You realize of course that while you're laughing at the names, the names Shaquille and Kobe somehow don't seem so strange anymore.
Yea, but Shaq just looks like a "Shaq" and Kobe just looks like a "Kobe:
I think Gianna is a popular Italian name. I knew a girl named Gianna in college.
Those all are Muslim names it seems. I don't know what's so funny about those names....
They are?
Shaquille's kids' names just look Muslim or Biblical to me. Mearah is a biblical name I believe.
Kobe's daughter's name is a regular Italian name.
Obviously we have a trained linguist amongst us.
Grats to both fathers...
Scary time of birth...
Alien Invasion??
That is crazy that they were born so close.
