MLB Draft tonight!
Only the Astros are better in all of baseball IMO. If Price isn't a cuck, they're probably better in fact.
MLB Draft tonight!
Royce Lewis (shortstop from Serra) goes #1 to the Twins.
Rizzo's career as a leadoff hitter : 2 ABs - 2 Dingers
It's official, Rizzo is the GOAT leadoff man.
Does he keep it up or become Joc 2.0?
Puig doing the troll thing
His swing might have some holes. Huge uppercut without much control. Looks like he might be vulnerable to pitches high in the zone and outside.
As you can see, his slugging is pretty anemic on high strikes, but if you just miss a few inches down, he'll punish you.

Dodgers are the best team in the MLB and it's not even close. Unreal depth all over the place
Kinda surprised how D-Backs are still keeping up with them. Goldy is prolly my favorite non Cub player.
I'm over at the D'Backs site on the local ESPN affiliate:::They just announced that SS Nick Amed broke his hand last nite:::

DBacks are alright. Rockies have been a fluke tho.
IMO:
1. Dodgers
2. healthy Cubs
3. Astros
4. Nats
5. Tribe
Here's hoping. Still would like another shutdown ace to complement Kersh.
Nats better fix that bullpen or they will be one and done as usual.
Must be nice to be a NL contender. So many bad teams in this league.
That Rangers bullpen
How many games have they blown this season now?

Diekman was the heart and soul of that bullpen imo. Dyson failed to carry that torch, but some are blaming our pitching coach...A lot of fans are blaming Bannister fwiw.
It's a bleak situation. If they can figure it out, they still have a shot at the WC, though. Their offense isn't going anywhere at least.
Indians starting pitching refusing to let them pull away in the AL Central.
Starting pitching was once thought of as one of this club's biggest strengths. It isn't, not once you get past Kluber. I'm not 100 percent sold on Carrasco in a big game. Him and Bauer have both been flaky at times. I have no idea WTF happened to Salazar. Ever since last year's ASB he's been horrendous. Tomlin is Tomlin.
Rest of the club's pretty good, though.
This has been kind of a weird season so far. I'll take 44-37 and 1st place all things considered.
The Rangers have the worst pitching staff I've ever seen outside their starters (who have been pretty mediocre as well). Most of the blame should fall on Daniels imo; he has been awful at evaluating players and trades.
I think it's only a matter of time before the Indians run away with this division. The Twins are fading, the Tigers and WhiteSox aren't good, and the Royals just don't have enough juice to keep unless their bullpen improves and get more production from the DH and corner OF spots
And then they can't even give Kluber run support today
You guys will still cruise to the playoffs, though. Boston and/or Houston gonna be tough, though.
