Next episode will have a battle betwwen the Lanisters and Dothraki/Dragons that should rival Battle of the Bas s in scope.
I think it has more to do with Dan and Dave being tired of working on the show. They're ready for it to be over.

Them and most viewer that've been on board for the long haul.
That's why I'm glad they're finally wrapping up story lines.
A slower paced show would've meant filler episodes, which are a complete waste of the production budget and time(actors and ours). It's better this way.
Good points, it's just a little jarring having Euron, Jamie, Varys, etc literally travel the continent within a single episode when they had been so intentional in showing the size and distance of the globe before a couple seasons ago. At the same time though, you have the Hound, Bran, and Arya taking two plus episodes to get around, it just depends on the needs of the story I guess. I am happy that they're spending more budget dollars per episode now though with less filler.
ing christ this season just gets worse and worse.
There is so many plot holes at this point that the story is like swiss cheese. Very very poor storytelling. I suppose most people don't notice and care about that sort of thing though. Hopefully fatty finishes the books at some point so I can forget about this abomination.
Its like a terrible carwreck, you just cant look away.
Good luck with that.
I'm not ready to go that far, but there is a definite "let's just get this over with" feel to it.
Meh, can't please everybody. I'm ready for the denouement and for this show to be over. This season has pleased me thus far.
Enjoy it even though it doesn't make sense? If I wanted to watch mindless action/bull I would go catch a Michael bay film
You keep saying that. Which parts don't make sense
He's probably one of those that about how characters travel at light speed from time to time.
Or like how the dragons didn't fatigue when they flew to Dragonstone over the narrow sea. Or how Daenerys and her crew all got matching black uniforms for the season premiere.
The things people nitpick while they watch a show about magic and dragons and .![]()
I've posted all of the inconsistencies of past seasons for you re s before, but I can do it again if needed. How the anyone watches and doesn't see all of the huge plot holes and inconsistencies is beyond me
my only question is where is gendry? last we saw him he was in a rowboat leaving dragonstone.
they had the perfect opportunity to bring him back and row theon to safety after escaping euron's attack
well then wtf do you watch? To go online and constantly ? I've never understood gluttons for punishment.
Yeah, I don't get it. He's not making any sense.
Certainly seems headed that way.
They may also hold off to have an epic battle with the walkers. War goes to a stalemate with neither army wanting to waste itself against the other.
My gut says the walkers will breach the wall, and start heading south, and with it, winter will come, even to the southern climates, which will freak everybody out.
cirsei will fall at some point, as they have already shown the Throne room in ruins, with snow falling in a hole in the roof, if memory serves.
Series will end with a grand alliance against the walkers.
My guess:
Yara is being kept alive to be installed as queen of the Iron Isle, IMO.
Her uncle will be killed by Cersei in some sort of betrayal.
What she does after being given the Iron Isle... that is something I would not care to guess at.
i think theon redeems himself, gives his life to kill euron and save yara
I kind of want to watch the leak of the new episode, but the quality is . I'll wait for Sunday.
I caved in and watched the episode, and it's the first time in seven seasons that I was able to fully appreciate the power of Dany's dragons, and that probably has to do with the fact that I'm invested in the fight at the climax. Drogon is terrifying. The Lannisters immediately lost their when he started lighting them up.
My only question is why didn't Dany bring Rhaegal and Viserion? She rode Drogon herself, so there is no point in leaving the other two at Dragonstone. If she dies, the other two would either just off somewhere else or start terrorizing Westeros. But that's a minor gripe.
