This. This is my restoration dream. All my high school friends were circle jerking to '67 Mustangs, but I wanted a '69 Cougar. Back in '86 I *almost* talked my parents into buying one from a guy in the neighborhood, until we found out the engine was blown.

Now I'm hoping to find one when I move back to the States and waste all my weekends working on it.

Current car that I drive here in the UK is my coolest car. '99 BMW Z3 M Series in British Racing Green with a 2.8L straight six. BMW made 300,000 Z3's globally, but only 10,000 M Series. Of those, only 918 were made with right-hand drive. Still working with a registered importer on getting it shipped back to the States when I leave.

That Cougar was given to me by a friend of the family when I was 17. Fun car to drive -- mine had the 390 engine, so it was extremely fast. Unfortunately, I blew up the engine. I moved to California and my mom sold the damn thing for $200 without my knowledge (she was tired of it sitting in the driveway). What a waste. I wish I still had it.

I own two cars but neither of them are very cool I want to get a new one but don't see any pragmatic reason to do so since I have two cars that work fine

My current. She's getting a supercharger soon.

Still thinking about that WS.6 and maybe another '56 Bel-Air.

I've always liked the 944's. A buddy of mine used to have one...that car was a uva lot of fun to ride in.

My senior year in high school/first year of college I drove a solid white 1956 Chevy Bel-Air(4 door sedan). That thing was such a pimp machine. I still have it, but the engine gave up the ghost years ago and it's been sitting ever since. I'd love to fix it up and roll it again but I just don't know if I'm ever gonna have the time or money to do it. I'm seriously considering selling it.

One of my proudest moments with that car was this one night at the club when I managed to pick up this chick who I thought was way out of range for me. I got her number, but she said she was riding with friends and couldn't go anywhere after that but we could hook up tomorrow. I asked her if she wanted to at least walk with me to my car. We walked across the parking lot and there it was, sitting under a light freshly washed and waxed.

    "Wow, this is your car?"

    "Yes it is."

Did you ? The story is pointless if you didn't .

I housed a 64' Impala SS after a neighborhood friend and his uncle restored it. I drove that around for a summer as we housed it at the house. It was pretty cool with front to back and side to side. However, the best car I've owned is a 5th gen Lance Evolution. I sold it after getting a car that is less au ious in an Accord.

Same thing happened to me back in the day. She was really fine and we were making out in the club. Later I walked her out to my 1981 Toyota Tercel Hatchback that I got for $500

I did not get laid that night.
