If fire kills the dead then how is the dead dragon going to breath fire without killing himself....plot hole.
Don't think this is confirmed, but the undead dragon will likely have the ability to flash freeze.

The undead dragon is gonna burn down the wall. That was the whole reason for the terrible plan to go north of the wall and catch a wight. They needed a reason to get the dragons north of the wall because they couldn't figure out how to get the army of the dead past the wall.

Edit: it doesn't seem like fire kills the undead btw. The undead bear got caught on fire and seemed completely fine, it wasnt until the sword/dagger to the dome that he went down

Not sure that was the intention, but it almost seemed like the whole thing was a setup by the Night King from the start to catch a dragon. It's obvious he has some greenseer abilities.

But yeah, the decision to go north at all was incredibly stupid by the group.

The dragon is gonna burn the wall down. Thats how the army of the dead is going to get south of the wall. I would bet large sums of money on that.

Oh ur saying you think it was all a trap. Got it. That would be a clever plot, sounds far to clever for the show writers tbh

Arya killing LF was the fun, rest was a clearly just a build up for next season. Really hope it doesn't get delayed till 2019.

but how would he know she needs to come beyond the wall with the dragons anyway? no one couldve expected such an idiotic plan (kidnap a wight? really?)

He supposedly has limited involvement with the show anymore so that he has more time to write the books... but he still has time to work with HBO on the spin-off(s).

solid finale. Seeing all the characters together was awesome. Even through the possible end of the world, deceiving plans are being used.

Kinda boring. Littlefinger's death was kind of anticlimactic at this point. The Stark girl feud was dumb to begin with, but the storylines been so weak that i got suckered in when originally we all knew littlefinger was being played.

I wanna punch Bran in the face.
Why couldn't he see that Raegar had his marriage with Martell annulled?
Jon was banging his Aunt while a dwarf eavesdropped.

The whole take the walker to cersei plot was kind of lame. Why would they trust her at all when she's shown time and time again that the only thing she gives a about is the iron throne? She blew up half the city for s sakes. Makes absolutely no sense.

Great finale. Best episode of the season, which was great overall. This season did the impossible: it made me like Daenerys. She needed Jon Snow to keep her ass in check for a while now. I don't understand how anybody can say that Jon and Dany lack chemistry; Emilia Clarke's acting is the best whenever Kit shows up on the screen. The characters have a lot more in common with each other than any other their previous lovers had.

My only gripe would be the Arya and Sansa scenes, except for the climax. I've seen Beyond The Wall several times, but whenever Winterfell pops up, I get on my phone. In hindsight, the scenes make sense because they were trying to set up Littlefinger--who had nothing to do anymore, honestly--but they still just made me hate Arya for being a c-word to her sister.

Why couldn't he see that Raegar had his marriage with Martell annulled?
Just because Bran can see everything in the past doesn't mean he has seen everything in the past. He didn't know about the annulment because he wasn't looking.

my only gripe this season is that cersai still living....but i understand he's one of the strongest characters so they just can't kill her off like that. but i was happy to see lord baelish finally get his ass throat slit

I also thought the finale was the strongest episode this season.

My main gripes about the season are the warp speed pace, the questionable logic surrounding the zombie hunt, and the Littlefinger storyline. I'm okay with Baelish dying. But the events leading up to it were crap. Plus the show broke narrative by having the audience in the dark as to Sansa and Arya's plan, and we were instead seeing things from Littlefinger's perspective.

This season was the . Loved every episode of it. Didn't dissapoint.

My gripes, mainly on the last episode:

-Cercei is a dumb . She's a simpleton. Did you see that there were only 2 dragons? Huh?

She's deluded. I dont know where people think her character is smart in any way when really she has a really simple, narrowed view where she thinks she and her ty army will win despite one other side clearly having a clear advantage.

Gonna let them fight it out and then I'll reign. God....

    -Bran's selective recalls.

Barely in the season and when he showed, he didn't lay it on thick on the exposition. Why did he let little finger hang around? And did it really take Sam to trigger him about Alyanna and Reaghar? Isn't he supposed to be in contact with the tree to see visions?

Seems like Sam told him and then he was like oh yeah, this and that.

-Little Finger being at Winterfell at all after the Starks were all there.

So I like little finger's character a lot but for someone as smart as he was, he didn't see the obvious?

First clue of "I need to get the out of here" was when Bran used his own words when they first met and gave him the dagger.

Second clue was when she saw badass Arya sparring with Brianne. YOU'RE IN ENEMY TERRITORY, MORON. GET THE OUT!

    And last..

    -The Wall

So much for magic being a component of keeping the whole wall up. All it took was some blue dragon fire and it was a done deal. Not really down with how easy it was to bring it down.

    RIP Turmond.
