I see what you mean now, I agree... that said, Pop does act in more subtle ways, albeit not politically, with things like resting, etc.

Exactly. If asked (no one would have asked), CK could have stated his opinion on the matter. I don't think anything would have come from it.

I never understood why a professional athlete would act like he's a prisoner and try to buck the system. Then you get followers who think they can strong arm the entire league, like an uprising.

2. I don't think RL literally murdered someone (supposedly). He just wasn't initially cooperating with police. CK sat for the anthem because he's idiotic and petulant and prideful. People forget that he didn't not stand the first time because of some political protest. He sat in a pout (not knelt) because he was having a hissy fit because the coach wasn't starting him for the first time.
